synchro question

ok say i have a junk synchron (3 stars) and i plan to summon junk warrior (5 stars) can i tune it to a monster with more than 2 stars? like junk synchron + a 3 star monster which equals 6 stars... or do the monsters have to equal 5 stars and no more?

 

also do dark synchro cards exist?

I suggest you ask in the YGO TCG subforum. There are people who are quite experienced with YGO gameplay there that may be able to help you out further.

so in theory i can tune a 3 star tuner 2 a 4 star monster to summon a 5 star synchro? (just double checking)

You need the exact number to match the level. You cannot use 2 LV 3 monsters to summon a LV 5. Also remember you can use only 1 tuner for a synchro summon. You must be sure the other monster is not a tuner.

Now there are more cards that play with the level of the monsters. I don't remember the name now, but I'm sure you can find it anywhere.
