GIMP Tutorial on Rendering (Pics added)

[align=center]This is a Tutorial teaching you how to Render Images on GIMP.

 

Warning - It's a newbie Tutorial!!

 

Step 1 -

 

Open up your Image on "GIMP".

Step 2 -

 

Select "Paths Tool".

 

 

Step 3 -

 

Go to "View", "Zoom", "200-800%" (depending on IMG).

 

 

Step 4 -

 

Place path around the edge of desired image.

Step 5 -

 

Press "Enter".

 

 

Step 6 -

 

Go to "Layers", "Transperency" and "Add Alpha Channel".

 

 

Step 7 -

 

Press "CNTRL" + "I".

 

 

Step 8 -

 

Press "Delete".

 

 

Step 9 -

 

(There should be something like a Chess Board in the background, this is what "Transperency looks like in "GIMP")

 

Save as (name here).png

Step 10 -

 

Upload to an Image Website (eg. Deviantart, Photobucket,etc.)

 

 

Step 11 -

 

Right click the IMG after it has been posted on an Image Website, go to "Properties", copy and paste the URL into your post.
