I know' date=' I meant that he saved as PSD (I think GIMP can) so that I could open it.[/quote'] If you open a PSD up in Gimp then the Mode goes to Normal so if you set something to dodge it will go to Normal when opened in Gimp. Can you save them as both XCF & PSD?

GHawk
Ok, if have layers that are Set on Dodge, Overlay, ect. and you save it as a PSD and then you go to open the PSD on Gimp. The Layers that are Set of Dodge, Overlay, ect will automaticlly be changed to Normal Layer Mode. Get it?
Sid.
Yeah. Its good since thers not many "grain merge" layers. I think thats the only one that doesnt work on PS, that i've used.
GHawk
Yea but for other sigs you do. It would make it easier for Gimp users, like me, to use these if they were saved as XCF files as well as PSDs.
