That's pretty good!

Some work on the shading could improve this splice tenfold, however. Look at where the light source is.

Also, I think some recoloring would be good also. It would make this splice more complete.

Keep up the splicing! ^_^

The left and right leg leg is incredibly awkward' date=' seriously.

You mirrored the 'hands', which is wrong.

I see no problem with mirroring hands, I always thought they looked good that way. You NEED to recolor. Looks unrealistic this way. Ears look odd.

When you morror a hand you:

Ruin the shading by splitting the lightsource, the good thing is that he attempted to fix it. To bad he did it wrong.

You also make the sprite look less realistic. Look at any real spite in pokemon. Do any of them mirror anything?

You also change the overall direction of the sprite. I know it might be hard for you to see it, but really when you mirror the hands, or anything for that matter, it changes the direction to make it seem as if the sprite is facing directly forward, where as all sprites are facing slightly to the right. Since the hands are small, and un-affective, it's just that little part that is facing foward, and the rest of the sprite is facing the correct direction. In short, if the pokemon was standing in that position in real life, it would always have to bend its hands to the point where it's almost touching its own wrist.

Which is why Hitmonlee should be avoided by beginners and amatuers alike.
