Here is my first chapter on my new story!

 

Chapter 1 “Final duel! Leo`s Aqua-deck vs prof. Beav`s Fortress-deck! (1)”

 

Kaibacorp has build a duel-academy on the ocean-floor. At this academy students get separated from the outer world for five years and study hard there in order to become great duellists. After all what happened with Duel-Academy 6 years ago is not something he wants to be repeated. Today the first group of all students who were there from the beginning graduate. One of them is Leo Mandevil. He wants to graduate and then get back to the surface in order to do what they are good at, duelling!

 

“The graduation-match between Leo and professor Beav is about to start. Give a grand welcome to the student which has not been defeated in 8 weeks with a grand total of 18 wins and 0 losses!” The crowd started clapping for Leo, the boy with the red blazing hair. The lights went on and the surroundings became visible. They would be duelling in an arena surrounded by nothing more but water and fishes.

 

“Wow, that makes it a whole interesting. An interesting audience,” right then a shark passed by, just behind Leo and he hopped from his left foot to his right foot, “that audience was not what I had in mind, but okey, I guess I can live with it.” He shuffled his deck, before handing it to prof. Beav. “Ready to duel, boy?” Leo smiled and with his wide grin, he answered, “I was born ready, professor.” He shuffled his teacher`s deck.

 

“Remember the day you came here, boy?” Leo nodded. “Yeah, I remember that. The day I came here and I kicked your butt!” Beav nodded. “Well, I would not want to express it like that, but you are right. You beated me while you still had 2400 lifepoints left. I guess it was faith that brought us together again at the parting of ways.” “Oh, my dear professor, you don’t get rid of me that easely.” They walked back to their positions.

 

The chancellor stepped up from his chair. “This duel is a duel to remember. One of the first duellists that ever came here is now going to graduate. Good luck to both of you and may the best win.”

 

“DUEL!”

 

Leo – 4000

Prof. Beav – 4000

 

“I’ll start things of with A Legendary Ocean. This downgrades all of my water-attribute monsters by 1 levelstars. However it gets better all water-attribute monsters gain an additional 200 attack – and defencepoints!” He took a card from his hand and held it up. “And now, ladies and gents, I introduce my famous card The Legendary Fisherman (1850/1600, now 2050/1800). Setting two cards, I end my turn.”

 

“Good, that was your opening move five years ago as well. Now let me play Gear Fortress, a spellcard that allows me to add two more monsters with “Fortress” in the name to my hand.” He took two cards from his deck and added them to his hand. Then he shuffled his deck again. “Now I summon Gear-Defender (0/1500) in defencemode, activating his special ability to summon another in defencemode.” Two grey-looking monsters appeared on the field.

 

“I know what you are up to, Beav. I activate the trapcard Cursed Water lv. 5. Since I have A Legendary Ocean on the field, I can activate this one. I guess you didn’t see this coming, did you?” He took two cards from his hand. “As long as the total of levelstars make 5, I can summon monsters to the field. So come out my Shining Spearfish (400/400) and Flying Fish (800/500).” Beav grunted, no, that was not what he had expected. “I set two cards and end my turn.

 

“Okey, now it is my turn!” Leo drew a card. “I don’t need to tribute monsters for this card. I summon Omega-Whale (2400/1000) in attackmode.” A giant black whale appeared on his side of the field. “This card allows me to tribute one of my monsters to deal half of my Whale`s attackstrength to you!” Beav`s lifepoints dropped to 2800.

 

Leo – 4000

Prof. Beav – 2800

 

In the stands two friends of Leo were watching, Leonard and Mary. “Wow, I did not remember Leo using his Omega-Whale in the first duel.” Mary nodded. “They might have started both with the same opening move, but I think this duel is going to turn out completely different.”

 

Prof. Beav smiled. That was the way he taught his students, always think the offensive way. What did they say again, offense is the best defence…… or was it the other way around? Anyway, it was still Leo`s turn. “I activate the spellcard Flooding Water, allowing me to exchange a monster on my field for a monster in my hand. So begone my Flying Fish and give a warm welcome to my Sacred Yellyfish (1300/1600) in attackmode. As long as this card is on the field, you cannot attack any other monsters then Sacred Yellyfish.”

 

Beav smiled as his own trapcard flipped up. “You might remember this one, boy. Dark-Fortress, a trapmonster which comes into play when you summon a monster via the effect of a spellcard. A giant fortress with on top a castle appears. Cannons were all over the place. Two smaller cannon-units appeared on the front line. “Of course you remember those as well, Cannon-Tokens. For the cost of 500 lifepoints (2300) I can summon two to the field.”

 

“Yeah, don’t think I forgot that one, prof. You nearly had beaten me with it. I add the equipmentcard Fisherman`s Spear to the Legendary Fisherman and end my turn.” The spear of the fisherman glowed and the fisherman dove back into the water. “Your puny fish can hide, but he cannot run.”

 

Beav drew a card. “Okey, now I play Metal-Force Fortress-Gear, removing my two Gear-Defender`s to summon two new monsters called Fortress-Force – Iron Knight (1500/2000) in defencemode.” Two black-clad iron masked knights appeared, marching in front of the gates of the Dark-Fortress (0/3000). “You know my next move, I tribute my Cannon-Tokens to deal 600 lifepoints of damage to you! (3400)” Then his lifepoints dropped to 1800 and two more Cannon-Token`s appeared. “Now I end my turn.”

 

Leo nodded as he looked at the line-up at Beav`s side of the field. It was amazing. In order to win, he would need to take down the defence one by one. “I play Monster Reborn and bring back my Shining Spearfish! Attack him directly!” Beav`s lifepoints dropped to 1400. “I attack your Iron-Knight with my Omega-Whale in order to destroy them and deliver 400 lifepoints of damage to you.” Beav`s lifepoints dropped to 1000. “So far so good. But knowing him, he will have some tricks upon his sleeve.”

This card can only be activated when “Umi” is on the field. Summon monsters to the field as long as their total of levelstars is 5.

 

Shining Spearfish

Effect: As long as “Umi” is on the field, this card is unaffected by spellcards. This card can attack directly.

 

Omega-Whale

Effect: Tribute one monster on your side of the field in order to inflict half of your Omega-Whale`s attackpoints to your opponent. When this card attacks a monster in defencemode, the difference in attack and defence is dealt to the opponent.

 

Sacred Yellyfish

1300/1600

Effect: When this card is on the field, no other monster can be attacked. This card is unaffected by spellcards.

 

Flooding Water

Spellcard

This card allows you to swap a monster on your side of the field with a monster in your hand.

Add two more monsters with “Fortress” in the name to your hand.

 

Gear-Defender

Effect: When this card is summoned successfully, summon one more “Gear-Defender” to the field.

 

Dark-Fortress

Trapcard

When this card is activated, it becomes a monster (8/0/3000/earth/machine-effect). This card can summon two Cannon-Token`s at the cost of 500 lifepoints to the field. This card cannot be destroyed by other trapcards and special abilities of monsters and at the cost of 500 lifepoints per turn, this card cannot be affected by spellcards as well.

 

Fortress-Force – Iron Knight

Effect: This card is unaffected by any spellcard.

 

Metal-Force Gear-Fortress

Spellcard

Tribute one monster to summon another monster, which must be an earth-attribute machine-monster with “Fortress-Force” in the name.

Excuse me, but this is my story and my story alone. Yeah, I know what you think, but I am known as "Humpie" on janime, so okey, I was not completely honest about the chapters and up to chapter 5 is finished, but this is my story!
