As for that exam thing

Academy Exam:

every question brings 10 points total of points is 50

List of Grades

From 0-25/Red Sliffer

From 26-40/Yellow Ra

From 41-50/ Blue Obelisk

1.) What is the significance of a card's attribute? Explain your answer.

The significance of a cards attribute is to sort it into different card sections so effects can be used on specific types. For example you need to separate fire from water monsters because you don't want Water Dragons effect effecting earth, water, light, dark, and wind monsters. You only want it to effect fire. Another use of this is that it helps the cards fit into certain themes.

2.) Explain the function of the types of Trap Cards?

-A normal trap card is any card that may be chained to an opponents action to impair his ability to make his move as planned.

-A continuous trap is the same as stated above but it is permanent.

-A counter trap is made to have the fastest spell speed so it can react to anything.

3.) Tell what a Chain is and how/why you might use it.

A chain is a response to an opponents action. You use it to stop or impair an opponents action or just to activate an effect of a card.

4.) Name one card that can only be activated as the 4th link in a chain. Also describe a situation in which this card would be useful.

Chain Healing

Type: Normal Trap Card

Gain 500 Life Points. If this card was activated as Chain Link 2 or 3, add this card to the Deck and shuffle it. If this card was activated as Chain Link 4 or higher, return this card to the hand.

This card would be useful in any situation where your opponents deck is heavy on trap cards. When they overuse them you may activate this card and when it is the 4th chain or higher, you can use it again. This would discourage you opponent from using traps for burn damage, or monster destruction.

5.) Choose one of the following 3 cards and explain how they work and what type of deck they would work best in.

- Rush Recklessly

Type: Quick-Play Spell Card

Target face-up monster gains 700 ATK until the end of this turn.

Rush Recklessly is a very good card if used properly. This card is most suited for a beatdown deck because it gives a hefty boost of attack points

Pros

-High attack Boost

-Can be used on opponents turn

Cons

-Doesn't last long

-Restricted to face up attack position monsters (not really a con if you think about it)
