Kieran returned to the room nearly as quickly. He was carrying another leatherbound, rather large book.

"This finally makes sense now! Take a look at this!"

He slapped a transcript on the table which, amongst other sets of text read thus:

"Seven turned away, six stalwart. The prisoner will rage against his prison, and he manipulates any near his cell. You who hold the powers of the turned, distance thyself from this menace..."

"If this is true, then we need to find the other three card holders before it's too late."

"We'll how in God's name are we supposed to find them and we don't even know who or where they are?! I mean seriously. Were not psychic here!"

"I share your sentiments. But for now, there is nothing I can do but continue my research. The book says that there is a set amount of time before the Death Gaze Dragon attempts to free himself, but it doesn't say how long. I have a feeling that the time is near. But I need some more time to attack this problem."

[GundamFreedom]

" So now what?"

"What I need now is time and solitude. There are three of you, yes? Why not go outside and enjoy a friendly Triangle Duel? I'll have something for you when you get back."

"Sorry, but Im not going to duel now. I will be still outside though."

Hunter seemed confused by the person. He felt unsure letting him see his card, but he decided it'd be ok. He slowly slipped his Civyieroza Izveroin out of his Deck, handing her to him. She shined radiantly, her power seeming beyond that of anyone's comprehension. "Don't damage her in any way. I keep her safe. She is my most prized card." He said as he looked at the stranger almost defensively.

OoC: This is before my triangle idea thing. Also, apparently we already know each other.

IC: "Not to worry. What good would come out of my mistreatment of your card?" Kieran said with a smile. As he studied the book's picture opposite the card's, he found it. "As I thought, your card is almost exactly like the Lilith pictured here. Hm. This is getting interesting..." he muttered to himself as he returned Civyeroza Izveroin to Hunter. "See, wholly undamaged."

Hunter smiled as he took the card back, quickly putting it back in his Deck as he then stood up, walking outside, closing the door only slightly, but not all the way as he walked out oonto the lawn. He quickly sat on the grass, gently laying himself down on his back, staring up at the sky. He watched as the clouds floated by, lowly talking to himself. "This is a very nice day," he mumbled to himself.

Zach woke up from a long nap.

 

Zach: *Yawn* What should i do....today.

"What are you going to do while we are outside?"

Hunter didn't exactly know what to do at the moment, and he wasn't sure if the other person had been talking to him. He ignored him and continued watching the clouds, poking at them even though he couldn't touch them. He was bored, knowing he couldn't do much. He stood up then, letting himself walk around the block, wondering where everyone in the block was. He had always heard that this was a quiet neighborhood, which was why he took walks in it, but today, there was no signs of life whatsoever.

"Whatever then. I have to work on my deck more."

Meanwhile, Kieran had buried himself in his books, searching for some kind of locator incantation or antiquated method of discovering these soul-card carrying duelists. Every so often he would scribble something down on his note pad, then continue leafing through the old texts. Finally, he found what he was looking for. He attempted the method used for communication between the guardians of the stone tablets in ancient times. As he repeated the incantation, Sensiasa, his deck's Ace, began to glow. According to the book he found it in, the others' cards should be glowing too, creating a magical communications line. Kieran grabbed the shining card instantaneously.

"Hello? Hello? is anyone there?" he called into the card.

Hunter had been walking around the corner as he heard a voice from his Deck, and saw a shining light. "What in the world?" He asked as he looked at his Civyieroza Izveroin. He could hear Kieran's voice. "Ummm.... Hello?" He said, rather confused as he saw an old couple walk by, noticing him talking to his card, then they simply shook their heads and continued walking.

"Ah, is that you, Hunter? Excellent! I've managed to get something right at least. I found this old spell which also proves my thesis. You see, this is how the guardians of the ancient souls of the dragon communicated. Seeing as how we're doing the same thing, this obviously means that these cards embody those souls. Can you pick up anyone else?"

While working on his deck, a bright light came from Armored Core Nexus. "What in the world was that?"

Hunter could hear the other person speak. He quickly sat down on the sidewalk and sighed. "This is awkward, why do you have to meddle into things that don't make sense." He said as he shook his head.

[GundamFreedom]

"I heard that Hunter. Guess we can talk through our respective cards."

"Will it even help if we continue doing this? We could easily go inside the house and talk. It would spare me and this other guy here the humiliation of being embarassed for talking to our cards. I don't know what's going on, but I'm going inside to help with that research, cause this is dangerously confusing me." He said, so fast it sounded like 1 whole sentence. He slowly stood up, cracking his back, and knees, then elbows, and slowly began walking back to the house.

"Good idea then. Cya at the house."

"Aha! Now this should work. Let's give it a try."

After the failed success of the communications channel, Kieran decided to look into how to find the remaining three "Turned". Eventually he came across something that could work. A special magical path that links the souls together. It was originally used for pilgrimages across the world, and only the spell-caster can see it. He decided to wait a moment, until the two that were outside came in. He copied down the proper method and went downstairs.

Hunter sighed as he stood just outside the door of the house, groaning at the fact that he actually was going to read. He hadn't read in about 3 years and had hated it, as it normally took away from his time to do fun things. He may have been an A+ Student, but that didn't mean he had no life, he just actually cared about school. He walked into the house, his hands in his pockets, staring up at Kieran as he slowly headed downstairs.
