The God(s) made the nothing that exploded into something. That makes sense to me =)

Thank you. I believe God caused the big bang, by creating everything needed to make the big bang.

If god created everything... Who created god?

I believe the Bob-omb theory; there was 1 thing in the universe, the big bob-omb. It then exploded and sent out thousands of beams and explosions then created the world etc. etc. etc.

no, no god.

The bigbang brought it all up. I mean, if there is a god, which just is hilarious, how has "it" come into being? And how could he have spoken with the prophets 2000 years ago? The energy which should have been big enough to create billions billions billions billions of tons of mass should speak with somebody standing there on one of the almost infinite planets? RIDICULOUS! The basic matter, Hydrogen and Helium atoms were always there. They didnt appear and they wont go away. The Big Bang finally triggerred the whole story to start. The energy which was set free there was saved in the atoms for eternities and so it was big enough to create different masses, antimatter and living cells. Evolution started and now created the human race which got a too big brain and now tries to explain things it doesnt understand with somebody sitting in the clouds.

EDIT: @ BMars pic: Its wrong. Simple atoms and antimatter IMploded.

Take the scientific approach the evidence that big bang happened is because of our ever expanding universe and the Cosmic Background Microwave Radiation. Or C.B.M.R.

If god existed why doesn't he stop people from dying? How the hell did god create the universe from that one singularity? Unless that we have proof that God exists, the Big Bang.

Prove he doesn't exist.

If God doesn't exist, then why do people do good things for others? Why do, even as adults when there is no one breathing down our necks, feel bad for doing horrible things? No one is watching you in the dark alley, and the person you hate is right in front of you, and you have a knife in your hand, and yet, you can't kill him. There is something, in the deepest reaches of your heart, that science could never make. If there is no one watching you when you are in that dark alley, then why can't you kill them? There's no one there, right? Wrong. You're conscience, your kindness that you have, science couldn't make that. If there is no one breathing down you're neck, then why not just take everything everybody has? You can't, because you know deep down it's wrong. But who could've put that there? Without it, our race would be destroyed. But science doesn't care if we all die, atoms don't care. So who did care enough to give us the restraint to keep ourselves alive? God. Who gave us the ability to do good, for no reason, just because you want to? God. You say if he let people die, he must not exist. Well, he knows that they've done all they could in life, so he brings them back to heaven.

To sum it up, science couldn't make the natural kindness in your soul. Science couldn't make your consciense, because if there is no god, then that means there are no real rules, because there is no one above you. Yet, you cannot kill them in the dark alley, because you know it's wrong, but in a world where only science exists, then there is no wrong or right, right? Wrong. God has given us order, kindness, and restraint. Most don't know how to use it, however, but that's beside the point. God has given us the things science never could. A soul, the knowledge to know right from wrong.

Also, was it just coincidence that all the elements that do those specific things, which we don't know why they do those specific things, were placed into the couldron called the universe? I think not.

You may believe whatever you want to believe, but this is what I believe.

The only thing i can't grasp about god is how was he just there.

Same thing with the big bang theory with the little dot with all the matter in it that was so dense it imploded on itself.

Whatever happened is weird. We could've just been here all this time.

Well, both Big Bang proof and God's teachings probably prove that wrong. It's possible, but mainly the Big Bang proof scratches that idea out.

@bolded: I find it ironic that your saying that.

A previous universe could had gods. We don't even know if this is the first time the universe formed, there could have been a "big crunch" before and we wouldn't even know it.

No I don't believe in the christian god, but I do believe that gods can exist. So don't try to pull that card on me =)

The Big Bang theory because science proves it right.

Our universe i moving farther away from the "center"

It's a theory, so science hasn't proven anything towards it. They probably never will but that's just part of the big mystery ;)

The most ironic thing is that the Big Bang Theory was theorized by a Christian priest. xD

Anyway... who knows? It could be possible that the universe simply has "been" always, whether God or Big Bang theory, we may never know.

Eh, I don't know what to decide. Big Bang seems extremely plausible, except I doubt people have figured out the "Something out of Nothingness" problem. And, I've noticed they haven't yet figured out that problem about God.

My opinion's fairly neutral.
