This poll is a bit more... user involved than most polls.

To participate you need to answer the following:

[spoiler=general info]What Country/State/Province/etc. do you live in:

*(if it's not obvious, be specific)

Population Density:

*(do you live in a Urban area (city), suburban area, or rural (countryside) area?)

If you're not comfortable with that, you might as well leave because it's useless for you to answer the following if you don't answer the above.

Then, answer the following:

[spoiler=Scenario Questions]

1. You have been approached and offered a sum of money to take the life of another (hu)man. The scenario has been set up so that you literally could not be caught, convicted, or get in trouble in any way for the crime whatsoever. It would be a clean hit with no consequences. You could have even closed your eyes and not watched yourself kill the (hu)man. The only consequence is that you have to live with yourself knowing that you killed a (hu)man, and at that, one you never knew.

How much money would it take to buy you into doing this?

2. A good friend of yours is on vacation (this friend is the same gender as you and is interested in the same gender that you are interested in, and if you're bi, take your pick in this case). This friend has been dating his "current partner" for over a year now. You, although unannounced to anyone, find his "current partner" very attractive. While your friend is on vacation, the two of you head over to a party/club and he/she gets completely smashed while there. You stay sober, knowing that you're going to have to drive at least yourself home. All of the (people of your gender) who hit on him/her while he/she's drunk are either cockblocked by his/her other friends or are just outright denied by him/her. He/she stops enjoying the party and you're happy to have seen your other friends, and you both take your leave. While you're driving him/her home, they open up to you; telling you that they second guess their current partner, that they feel that they're relationship simply isn't worthwhile. They then tell you that they've always found you attractive and mention that they've been thinking this for a while. When you pull into their driveway, they kiss you and tell you that there's room in their bed if you wanted to stay the night. In this scenario, this person is clean of any sort of infection, that pregnancy is an impossible due to other circumstances. Your friend will never find out. The only consequence is that you have to live with yourself knowing that you betrayed your friend, and that they could never trust you again if you ever were to tell them about the occurrence.

Would you stay the night?

3. You find $15 in your pants pocket. You go to your local Ice Cream (if you don't eat ice cream, pick something that you would eat that can apply to this scenario.) You know the shop owners, and you know that they've worked hard to build up their Ice Cream business. You know that the Ice Cream there is homemade and fantastic; it beats most other Ice Cream anywhere else. They sell (your favorite flavor here) Ice Cream by the 2 Pint for $15. You are certain on buying Ice Cream, and will end up buying Ice Cream in this scenario. There are no taxes in this scenario. Before you walk in the store though, you notice that the Store across the street is selling (your favorite flavor here) Ice Cream for $11. It's a chain store and you know the Ice Cream is not as good, but it's good Ice Cream none the less.

Do you go ahead with your original intent and buy the homemade, quality Ice Cream or do you go and buy the less expensive, mass produced Ice Cream because it's cheaper?

4. A fire has broken out over a local forest. A elderly man and a child are caught in the blaze. There is no one on the scene and you have dialed in the emergency. It will be 2-3 minutes before the Fire Department arrives. The child and the elderly man have been in the flames for a while and are growing weary in breath. You can tell by the look on both of their faces that they will not last another 2-3 minutes in the fire. You've decided that you're going to be a hero and are going to save them.. well... one of them. The elderly man is closer to you than the child is, but if you were to rescue the man first, there is a fair chance that the child might not live. If you were to rescue the child, you would barely get him out alive and the elderly man would certainly die.

Do you save the Elderly man and hopefully save the child, or do you assure the safety of the child by leaving the Elderly man behind?

5. You're visiting a small city and you see a homeless man walking down the road. You see the man holding out a "change tin. "You check and see that you have a spare dollar, and you've decided that you don't care much for the dollar yourself. However, as you get closer you smell booze and on an off glance, you see a razor in his pocket. You figure that about 80% of the guys money probably goes to booze but the other 20% is at least getting spent on keeping himself better.

Knowing that 80 cents of your dollar are probably going to go to booze, would you still donate it knowing that the other 20 cents could make the mans life better?

Answer then like this:

1. (pick Yes/No)

2. (pick Yes/No)

3. same as 1 and 2

4. same as 1 and 2

5. same as 1 and 2

Thanks for reading :)

1. No.

Even though its not a yes or no question.

2. No.

Pulling the man-rule on this one.

3. Less expensive

4. About time. A legitimate moral dilemma.

Child.

5. Meh. I can't answer this because I wouldn't give the dollar in the first place. So there wouldn't be a debate on what he's spending it on, he's just not getting it.

Town in middle England - Population density for my area is about 300-400 / square mile.

1) Price would depend on how I'm feeling, but it'd probably be somewhere around £20 million.

2) No

3) I'd buy the homemade ice cream unless I wanted to buy something else for less than $4 on that occasion.

4) I'd try to save the child before the old man.

5) I'd keep it - the booze would probably slowly make him even more desperate.
