Malice
Hello, and welcome to my first Role Play on this forum, though believe me, I am no stranger to RPing. Below you will find information on this RP, though it will be altered and adjusted according to how people react to the ideas presented. I hope that people find this RP interesting, and also that people will refrain from one-liners, god modding and all that other nasty stuff that takes away from the fun. When responding to a post, remember that it is important to read carefully, and have your character respond to what is going on. :) As always, I'm here to help if anyone needs me.
As a card game, duel monsters has become a fairly unpopular game, to the extent that it has become obsolete to the majority of the population. There are no longer large tournaments with screaming fans, no card shops with fresh packs of monsters, and no interest in discovering more monsters. Though dead to the mainstream, rings of loyal duelists armed with duel disks form clubs or circles, holding battle tournaments among themselves. They dedicate themselves to developing the perfect deck, while taking ridicule for participating in 'childish games' from 'outsiders'. However, duel monsters is far more than a simple game. Its roots lay in ancient Egypt, a time when these monsters truly existed, and were capable of great destruction. In present day, the images of these monsters have been imprinted on playing cards for the game duel monsters, and still, they are more then they appear to be. The spirits of the duel monsters are still very much alive, those free are drawn to duels and constantly searching for a human to 'leach' off of. Once a monster has found a human it deems suitable, it feeds off that persons energies, making itself stronger, though causing negative side effects on the human, that ranges depending on how parasitic the monster-human relation is. Some benevolent souls call themselves 'deck masters', these monsters watch over their human, while other, malevolent souls are determined to pursue a more negative path.
For the moment, no one will be playing any 'evil' spirits, monsters, or characters, but as things progress, and I get to see peoples capabilities, I will allow members on the RP to take on additional characters, be they duel monsters or humans. You can have a main character, and other lesser characters such as family members, but only one main character, meaning, only one character with a deck master. Your characters deck master must be four stars or lower. The energy a stronger monster would require of a human would take far too much out of a person. As time progresses, like I said, stronger monsters will appear as deck masters, both malevolent and benevolent. Each deck master has a special effect. If you wish for your character to know/ be related to another person's characters, that is fine with me, just make sure the other RPer is okay with it. As for deck contents, be realistic, please. More info to be added as needed or thought up! Hopefully, this RP will receive enough interest to get off of the ground. *NEW: As we're just starting off, for the moment, deck master's cannot be destroyed in battle. When a deck master is defeated in battle, it will simply vanish, and reappear later on when it has regained it's strength. Later in the RP, they WILL be able to be 'destroyed' for good, but we wont worry about that just yet. - And remember, your deck master and duelist are linked with a special bond. When your deck master is defeated and vanishing, your character will feel incredibly worn out. *NEW: For the moment, in our decks we will all have a single card that is stronger than the others, say, in the 2100-2500 range, and the rest 2000 and below. This is just to keep us balanced as we start off, but don't worry, the oppourtunity to get more cards will come. *NEW: In the future, if your character seeks a specific card, I will introduce an NPC that will call himself 'the Hustler.' He will appear at dueling events, with a large amount of cards that you can trade for or buy or whatever.
Name:Age:Appearance: A written description.Personality: Bio:Writing Example:Theme Song:Deck Name: Deck Master: Nickname:Deck Master Special Effect:Deck Master Personality:Theme Song:

Name: Ty Alicia HartAge: 19Appearance: Ty stands at 5'7" and is of medium build. She has bushy black hair, that passes her shoulders, and green eyes. More often then not, she wears a soft, faded looking pair of jeans, as well as her favorite shirts, a black, skin tight tee, with a larger, white sleeves shirt over it. The white shirt has a picture of a golden key on it, with the butt end shaped like a heart. Around her neck she wears a collar, from which hangs a small silver lock. Her sneakers, which are somewhat worn out, are black high tops.Personality: Ty has a tendency to mother or baby other people, particularly those that are younger than herself. She is mature, though not to the extent that she is boring. She usually puts on her 'brave face' regardless of how she is feeling, just to prevent the people around her from worrying or being bothered by her expression. Ty is a strong person, with a great love for dueling and the Spellcaster monsters available. Bio: Ty lived a simple life all while she was growing up. She would play, laugh, and carry on with nonsense, just as any child would, but with an awkwardness that never really left her. Being the oldest of three children, she often found herself watching over her younger siblings. This protective behavior grew when there was an accident, and one of her siblings nearly died. As she grew older, Ty became a bit of a recluse, hardly leaving her home, aside the usual chores she had to deal with, such as school. She would simply wander around her home, searching for something to temporarily amuse herself. It was during one of these wandering that she ended up in her attic, looking through boxes. Inside a box marked with her father's name, she found a tin of duel monsters cards. She asked her father what they were, and as he fondly explained to her that it was an old hobby that he loved, she began to feel drawn to the game, to the extent that she decided to leave the house and learn more. Though it took her some time to discover active players, she fell completely in love with the game while watching unofficial matches. It was this that drove her to seek out whatever cards she could find, and construct her own deck, a task that varied in intensity. She struck paydirt on her nineteenth birthday, when her father, then aware of her interest, passed his cards onto her, allowing her to put together a fairly well structured deck. Once she had a deck, Ty denounced her reclusive ways, and instead spent her time forming strategies, tradings cards, and dueling with other players within a ring of duelist that played closest to her home. Eventually, after familiarizing herself with the tactics and cards of her opponents, she began to visit other areas she had heard that dueling still took place in. It was during one of these 'away' matches that her deck master's spirit took interest in her. After she had pulled a move that he deemed particularly clever, he watched gleefully as she summoned a Blast Magician to the field, and eagerly seized the chance to link himself to her, and her deck. From that duel onwards, the Blast Magician stood alongside her as she dueled, acting as silent support, or stepping onto the field when the need was there.Writing Example: To come.Theme Song: Adrenaline by Gavin RossdaleDeck Name: Spellcaster's Sorrow Deck Master: Blast MagicianNickname: BlastDeck Master Special Effect: Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Spell Counters from this card to destroy 1 face-up monster on the field with ATK equal to or less than 700 x the number of counters you removed.Deck Master Personality: Blast ensures that he acts as though he is a cynical, bitter spirit that has pessimistic tendencies, though he is, in fact a kind spirit that wishes he could believe that good things can happen if given a chance. He hides himself behind a wall of sarcasm to protect himself from getting attached too his human partner, Ty, as he regards humans as 'weak underlings'.Theme Song: Ghost Opera by Kamelot
Name: Bellatrix "Bella" JasperAge: 16Appearance: She is a lanky 5'5" girl with elbow-length straight brown hair and eyes like amethysts. She has no piercings or tattooes, but has a funny birthmark shaped like a stick on her right shoulder. She rarely wears skirts and dresses, and is usually seen in jeans and trainers.Personality: In general she is a nice girl who tries to see good in everyone. However she is also quite cunning and takes the phrase "treat people as you expect to be treated" literally, so if anyone wages a grudge against her she will wager a grudge back.Bio: Bellatrix has had a good upbringing. Her parents were, in their youth, tag team champions. She has a younger brother who, from an early age like her, aspires to be a more well known duellist. Writing Example:Bellatrix sighed as she slowly walked across the park. She had never felt this bored before, but she couldn't help it. Everyone was busy with some thing or another, leaving her alone. As she passed a tree, Breaker appeared by her side. At least I still have you, she thought as she turned to him. "Hey Breaker," she said. "I feel so bored. Everyone's ... well ... dad's got work to go to, mum's away, and my little brother's busy taking part in a tag team tournament with his new friend." Theme Song: Remedy - Little BootsDeck Name: Spellcasters Unite Deck Master: Breaker the Magical WarriorNickname:BreakerDeck Master Special Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned, put 1 Spell Counter on it (max. 1). This card gains 300 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.Deck Master Personality: He is a very fair duel spirit who is up for giving people chances. He likes being the leader and hates it when someone comes up with a better solution than him, which usually leaves him sulking for a while.Theme Song: Warrior's Dance - The Prodigy
Name: CravingAge: 21Appearance: A fairly tall woman with long back hair that goes down to the top of her legs. Wears a crimson dress that falls down to her knees and has violet eyes.Personality: Evil and uncaring about what people think of her. She doesn't care what people think about her dreams and ambitions.Bio: Craving believes that humanity has sinned enough. The whole reason she continues to play Duel Monsters is so that she can wipe out humanity and let them start a new, sin free life. She hates humanity for many reasons, all of which are to do with her dark childhood where everything was taken away from her.Writing Example: Craving walked into the dim-lit room. Her eyes could be seen burning with the fire from the torch she held in her hand. As she progressed to the end of the room, the door snapped shut behind her and she smirked a wicked smirk. She knew that everything was going to plan, humanity would soon be at peace.Theme Song: A Dream of ArmageddonDeck Name: Blood Craving Deck Master: Vampire LadyNickname: LusterDeck Master Special Effect: When a player takes Life Point damage, they feel pain equal to the amount of Life Points lostDeck Master Personality: Much like CravingTheme Song: In the Web
Name: Markus 'Wolf' Claw Age: 19 Appearance: Casually, he wears his black hair down, spiking the front across his head so it crosses over each of his emerald eyes, which many have taken a liking to. He has a strange smile that can seem to make the best situations better or the worst situations colder, depending on how the rest of his face reacts, and oddly his eyebrows show much of his emotion. His nose is petite and curved slightly at the tip, his ears in a similar fashion, the tips almost elven and earlobes small. His normal, every-day clothing consists of an orange hoodie, on the chest sprayed on in a graffiti-style the word prison with skyscrapers reaching up behind it. He wears jeans, although they are a darker blue than normal considering they got mixed up with a full load of black items in the wash. Normally that would have no effect, but the colour only leached slightly. Regardless, he wears them still, signifying them as 'unique'. Ringed around his neck is a simple piece of string that loops over, holstering a wolf tooth on the end which partially masks the 'i' on his hoodie's logo. His shoes are Nike - they are plain white with a blue tick. Personality: To most new people he meets, Markus can be incredibly cold and sarcastic, hissing at most of their comments and such. However, after spending a while with said person, he will begin to trust them and accept them, eventually treating them like most people treat their friends. However, he has no respect for those who flee from a duel; he treats them as sort of more than just a card game for reasons of his own, and will despise anyone who will chicken out. He has a strong passion for duelling and will try to win, but can accept a loss if it ever happens. Bio: Not knowing himself where he was raised, his father and mother were an odd pair; his father was a large business man, working heavily in the Seto Kaiba Corporation, whilst his mother was rather poor, working at a clothing shop downtown. How they managed to find each other Markus never knew, simply because he was never told, but regardless he loved them both equally. However, one night his mother and father had a huge fight, and he awoke in the morning after getting barely any sleep to find his mother dead on the couch, obviously by a bullet wound, and his father gone. He has never seen him since. Attempting to raise himself, Markus soon found himself interested in Duel Monsters, spending whatever spare money he had on booster packs and rare cards. He has been a fan of the series since, and has always played and still does, even when other's don't. [sorry for crappy bio, bit blocked. D:] Writing Example:In here, big post. (Click to View)It was nice enough on a hot day like this. She stared around at the town that she, at least for a few days, had called home once more. She was actually accepted here, something she didn't get often. Thinking about that drifted her hand to the scar on her forehead, which she pressed, before pulling her hand away lightning-fast, pain rushing through her forehead. Pain that would stain her face for the rest of her life, something she couldn't ignore. Sighing, she stood up off the park bench, her brown-and-black hair waving around as she shook her head. She popped the last part of the cone into her mouth, chewing for a moment, before picking up her bag and moving through the park once more. The trees were in the full bloom of spring time, and it would have been a wonder to walk through when Chris had the time; sadly, time was not of the essence as of the moment. Slipping one of the golden coins from her pocket, she flicked it into a nearby tin collecting for a charity of helping injured Pokemon found in forests and caves.Christina, or Chris as she was more commonly called, sighed, licking the last of her ice cream out of the cone. It hadn't been worth what she had paid, but it was pleasing, she placed four more coins in, the reason of the charity making her smile, and walked away to praises and thanks from the group collecting. She left the park then, watching a small flock of Pidgey fly overhead from one tree to another, the squawking and hissing over the remains of a turkey sandwich attracting Chris' attention. She smiled, always going to remember that moment. Although it was nothing special, it was something to see, so it was worth a remembrance. For some reason, Chris did a minor spin as she came up to the lab. It was an odd building, made unlike all the rest; instead of the concrete-and-wood mixture of most of the Pallet building, Oak's lab was made of pure brick, in a pattern of sandy brown and dark brown. One brick would be dark brown, then sandy brown, then dark brown and so forth, and amazingly enough, it actually seemed to attract the eyes to the building, bringing a small laugh to Chris'. Funny how a simple pattern like that could make you want to look at a building. As she turned the corner, her eyes fell upon the simple sign laid out in front of it: Pallet Town Lab - Current Professor: Professor Oak She recognised his scrawny handwriting he had used on the letter adressed to her, telling her to come to the lab today and get a Pokemon. She had no idea how he had known where she was staying - or, for that matter, how he had known what Pokemon she had wanted. It was all a bit of a mystery, but the questions were at the back of her mind; today was the day she finally obtained a Squirtle, it was all she needed, truthfully. She turned only to quickly dodge out of the way of a girl whom had just come running out of the lab at incredible speeds - it was an amazement that Chris hadn't been flattened. Smiling at her thoughts of it beinga 'near-death' experience, she entered the lab. The outside was far prettier than the inside, Chris decided quickly staring around at the towers of books which threatened to fall at any minute. They were mostly folders, in every colour of the rainbow and every colour in between every colour of the rainbow. She smiled, then gulped at one of the piles, which seemed to almost touch the ceiling. Must have needed a tall man to reach all the way up there, she though, before her eyes rested on the stepladder next to the pile. A laugh escaped her lips, and then a friendly cough came from in front of her, and her eyes fixed on Samuel Oak - the professor. He was getting older now; his eyes were full of less colour than she had seen the years ago when he used to be on the TV. His dark blonde hair was turning into grey fast, and his laboratory coat was coated itself in a slim layer of dust. However, his mouth was curved into a wrinkled smile and he spoke, his voice still as strong as ever, "Why hello there, Christina. You've come for the Squirtle I presume. Would I be right in saying that?" Chris felt her own mouth curve into a smile, and nodded repeatedly, as some cartoon character might. She walked up to the desk, nothing there were now only four Pokeballs there - one slot was there for the missing one, the card named 'Charmander' sitting in front of it. The girl that ran past her earlire must have been the owner of that Pokemon now. He pulled a pokedex from a desk further back and picked up her pokeball, and, with a smile, handed it to her. "You're growing up now, Chris. I remember when you were little. Well, are you ready for your Pokemon adventure?" Chris smiled, softly saying yes before taking the items he had prepared for her. Hypocritcally, she ran outside at full speed, ready to leave Pallet Town and began her journey! Turning the corner, she found the girl she had seen before and grinned.Theme Song: Linkin Park - Forgotten. Malice
I assume since you left out fields you'll be editing your post again, so I'm going to ask you to be a little more descriptive and to change a few things. If you need help doing this, I'm more then happy to offer my assistance. Your description bare, all I know is that your character has long blond hair, black t-shirt and jeans. What color are his eyes? Does he have any accessories? Does he have tattoos, scars, piercings or a birth mark? His bio and the writing example need to be filled in, so my next issue is with the 'effect' of the Red Eyes Black Chick. Throwing fireballs really isn't an effect, it's more of an attack. The effect on the card says 'Send this face-up card on your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 “Red-Eyes B. Dragon” from your hand,' so if you wished to use that effect, it would be fine. I hope that doesn't sound picky of me, I'm just trying to help this RP be all it can be, and like I said before, I'm happy to help you if you need it. :)

Malice
Pragboy, your sign up is iffy to me. I got to the 'She has killed many in her life, mostly because they have gotten in her way of trying to purge humanity.' line and it really threw me off. She has killed many? If you just wanted your character that hated humanity or whatever, that would be fine, but the killing thing has taken it a tad too far. Also, if she hates humanity so much, there must be something more to put in her bio about it, like what happened to make her hate humanity, beyond the thing about her thinking they sinned. And is you deck master a real card? I can't find it anywhere? Anyways, if you need any help/suggestions, I'm here. You can even PM if you like, I don't mind. Also, your character is 18 years old and only has a line in his bio, would you mind adding at least another line or two? It would be nice if you can add a little to the appearance section, as well. I'd be very grateful. ^^ Leonic, I'm hoping at least two more people will want to join, but I'll probably begin the RP in the morning, and allow any new contenders to mail in sign ups if they want to join after that. As I said before, sorry to everyone if I seem picky about this stuff, but I'm used to RPing in places where people would be maimed for some stuff like this. x_xYugiohisawesome, if you fill out a form, you'll be considered, and like I told everyone else, if you need help, I'm more than happy to offer it. Slipping one of the golden coins from her pocket, she flicked it into a nearby tin collecting for a charity of helping injured Pokemon found in forests and caves. Christina, or Chris as she was more commonly called, sighed, licking the last of her ice cream out of the cone. Turning the corner, she found the girl she had seen before and grinned. Theme Song: Linkin Park - Forgotten. Deck Name: Rulers of the Dark World ~~~ Deck Master: Kore, Prison-Master of the Dark World Nickname: Kore Deck Master Special Effect: Markus can search his deck for two Dark World cards, then discard three cards from his hand. Deck Master Personality: True to his name, Kore is relatively cruel and cold to his opponent's, whilst mildly friendlier to Markus. He's never exactly what you'd call 'nice', but enjoys being played. Kyosuke Kiryu
Aetos is Guardian Eatos basically, but upgraded, or should I change it. I may run Armitael in this RP. New Appearance: Fairly tall, tanned skin with red eyes. He has a scar going down his left eye that he managed to get by dueling in a war duel. He wears a jet black hoodie and skinny jeans. He wears a dark blue glove on his left hand to cover for a scar that was put there during the war duel. New Bio; Azure was always a quiet child, however, if he was good at one thing, it had to be duel monsters! He showed great potenital from a young age. Unfortunately, his life was put in to jepardy when his parents died. Leaving behind 4 Cards. He now will find his parents killer. and he will kill them. My deck master is just an updated version of Guardian Eatos. Or does it have to be a real card?
Malice
Well the thing is, it's supposed to be a four star monster or less for the moment.

Malice
(And, so it begins! Here's the opening post. :3) The night air was chiller than usual, making Ty shiver slightly as she stood with her back to a large stadium that had once been a dueling arena. She cast a glance back at it, wishing she had been able to see it when it was at it's full glory, and not broken down as it was now. Nevertheless, just seeing it gave her inspiration. It made her feel proud to be a duelist. Another shiver down her spine snapped her back from her daydreams. She tugged at the collar of her jacket, protecting her fragile throat from the cold air of the night. Second guessing her decision to simply adjust her jacket, she soon pulled the zipper as high as possible, briefly burying her chin within her jacket, until she heard a throat clearing. "You're late. As usual," pointed out the odd, man shaped creature that stood a few feet behind her. A frown was etched into his face, though that happened to be the norm for him. "Stop admiring this wreckage and get going," growled the Blast Magician. He wasted no time in heading down the street, taking a few steps before simply vanishing into thin air. Hanging her head, Ty sighed, mumbling something inaudible to herself as she began to walk in the direction that her deck master had been heading. 'He can be such a jerk sometimes, you'd think he would have some appreciation for a place like this,' she thought, giving her head a meek shake. She had long given up on arguing with him, he always seemed to be of the opinion that he was correct, and that was it. There were no 'ifs, ands, ors, or buts,' to anything. He was right. End of story. By far, what bothered her the most about the spirit of her deck, was the fact that he insisted on acting like a jerk, when she knew full well this was not the case. On occasion, she had seen a kind side of him. The true Blast Magician. In fact, she remembered one such moment perfectly. She had been losing a duel terribly, to the extent that with one final blow, she would have been out of the game. It was Blast whom saved her. He told her of his ability to effect the game, even without being played. With the number of spell counters she had built up protecting herself in previous rounds, she was able to destroy a particularly powerful monster without even summoning a monster to the field. That moment, was perhaps the kindest he had ever been to her, and when it happened, she had wondered his motives for assisting her. She had suspected that he simply did not wish to have his name slandered with a lost duel, but then, they had lost before, so that was hardly the case. She smiled idly at the thought. Though he was rough around the edges, the Blast Magician did have good intentions when he was needed the most. Having been lost in her thoughts the entire journey, Ty soon found herself within the park where all the duelists were gathered. She scanned the crowd for anyone she might have known, but there were no familiar faces amongst the group. Shrugging softly, she began to mingle, wandering between ongoing duels to see exactly what was going on. She noted that some of the duelist sat at tables intended for chest, dueling without the aid of duel disks. Experience told her that most of these players were novices, whom were not yet familiar enough with the game to seek out a duel disk of their own. Regardless of experience, a duel was a duel. There were things to learn and new cards to see. Granted, without the holograms of the duel disks, the game was a lot less flashy, but it did not lose it's appeal to her. Silently, she wandered between the tables, but the chatter of some of the other duelists told her that a holographic duel was about to begin. Like many of the others, she made her way to a particularly open area of the park, where two opponents stood across from each other, drawing cards and about to begin. She watched as the first player chose to summon an Injection Fairy Lily, a rare card that she was familiar with, only because she had faced it before. She shook her head when the second player laughed and claimed that the duel was already won. It was a newbie mistake to underestimate your opponent. The second player summoned a Battle Ox to the field. It snorted and held it's axe tightly, waiting for the order to strike. The player did not hesitate to give the command, and as the monster rushed forwards, the first duelist activated the effect of his fairy monster, giving her 3000 attack points, effectively destroying his opponent's monster, and diminishing a portion of his life points, at the expense of 2000 of his own life points. "Well, that was predictable," Blast pointed out, having returned to his human counterpart. He shook his head, propping his staff on the ground and leaning on it, "It's obvious whom is going to win this duel," he then announced to her, giving a nod towards the Injection Fairy Lily. "Why do you say that? They both still have the better part of their life points," she pointed out, raising her eyes to look at him, she arched a brow. "Simple. Being an aggressive player is fine, but not when you don't have the brains to protect yourself," he answered, facing the duel and watching as several turns pass. He noted that the aggressive player was not placing any cards face down, instead, all he placed on the field were attack position monsters, "I don't think he even has any magic or trap cards in his deck. He's just playing monsters and hoping he gets lucky." Ty shrugged her shoulders slightly, thinking that perhaps the boy was just having unlucky draws. However, as the duel drew to a close, and a very one sided one at that, she soon found herself agreeing with her deck master. She nearly grimaced as she admitted to herself that he was right. "Predictable," Blast sighed, turning away for the fading holograms, "unintelligent flesh creature," he murmured, noting the look that Ty gave him for his uttered words. He snorted arrogantly, his staff firmly in his hand, "Let's see what else is going on around here," he suggested, giving her a tap in the knee with the butt of his staff to get her moving. "... Fine," Ty shook her head once more, moving across the grass, observing the other duelists, whom were scattered all over the park. A particularly large group sat on the grass, trading cards, while others were partaking in duels that were scattered throughout the park. Additionally, some duelist were simply observing, much as she was. (Didn't realize how long it was until I posted it. O_O) (I added some stuff to the 'Information' section. It is marked clearly with a big 'NEW,' so it's not hard to spot. xD I'm also open to hear any suggestions from anyone, be they plot related, character related, or anything else, I'd love feedback from anyone. Additionally, if anyone does not like how something is progressing, do tell, and I'll see what I can do.)
Snitch
Markus had arrived early in the afternoon, as he did usually; everyone knew he would be there straight away, as he had no one to stop him. More so, he had no one. His simple, card-game hobby was almost all that he had, and, regardless of his time playing the game and with the club he was at, he still didn't have anyone to call a 'friend', as most would put it. Unless you could call it, or him, a friend. Kore was an odd creature, made up light a skeleton, with grey flesh that seemed to be chipping off randomly. His face was masked in the shroud of his horned helmet, and the armour he was wearing signified that he wasn't a pushover in the Dark World. Typically, he was always wielding one of the three whips he owned or one of the two swords, normally having one of each per hand. Being a Prison-Master, he purely acted like one, much to Markus' annoyance. Regardless, it wasn't his choice who his Deck Master was, and as far as he was aware, he was the only one who had one. He remembered when Kore had come to him, claiming that only he and those that controlled other Deck Masters could see and talk to him, and that Markus could see other Deck Masters if they so happened to be where he was. Which still hasn't happened, Markus thought to himself, his thoughts drifting back to the duel. "Come on!" his opponent chimed - a young girl no older than fifteen. Her long brown hair was split into two long ponytails that trailed over her chest, and her dark brown eyes were full of playfulness. Her mouth was curved into a smile of victory, but it would be wiped off her face soon enough. Markus slid his hand onto the deck in his Duel Disk, drawing the top card - Sillva, he thought with a sigh. Surveying the field once more he looked at her face-up cards. Din-Yunn, Guardian of the Above and Abstract Fairy, both at an attack point total of 1900 due to Abstract Fairy's effect of giving all of her type a 500 attack boost. Markus' eyes flashed over the other cards in his hand and he smiled - The Cheerful Coffin. "I activate this spell," he said to the girl, slotting it into the hole. All he could see was the back of the holographic card, but he had seen what was happening before. The fiend carrying the onyx-coloured coffin would project itself, a malicious grin across it's face, before opening it, the three monsters he discarded disappearing into the black mists. But not for long, he though with a smile. "So now I discard Goldd, Wu-Lord, Sillva, Warlord and Kahkki, Guerilla, all of the Dark World!" He said with a cold smile, as the three holographic images appeared only to be sucked into the coffin, which vanished moments later along with the holographic card. "Now, Sillva and Goldd are reborn!" Markus called out as the two Dark World lord cards rose from the ground, a lot taller than both fairies. "And considering Kahkki was also sent to the Graveyard, I get to destroy one monster on your field! And I choose Abstract Fairy," he declared, pointing to the creature as it shattered into pieces, resulting in Din-Yunn's attack reverting back to it's original 1400. The girl certainly wasn't smiling now. "Now, Goldd, attack her Din-Yunn!" Markus commanded, raising his palm in a commander-sort of way. Goldd stepped forward slowly, a devilish grin crawling across his face, and raised the giant gold-and-black axe he wielded. He drew it up into the air, before smashing it down, directly halving the fairy had she not imploded upon the force. The girl's Life Points lowered down to 2200. Just enough to win, Markus thought with a smile, before yelling, "Now, Sillva, finish her off!" Sillva leapt forward, raising his silver blade and cutting across the girl, dealing no real damage to her, but causing her to squeal nonetheless and fall to the ground. With a smile, Markus deactivated his Duel Disk and went to help her up. After doing so, he moved away from the crowd, over to a bench, staring up at the approaching moon. Kyosuke Kiryu
Azure was sat on a step, crying. It was 10 years ago today that his parents had died, the only friend he had was Aetos. He appeared by his side. It's alright, atleast they're resting now. "Argh, I just can't get them out of my head! What should I do?!" How about we go for a walk? "Sure, I need something to ease my mind." As they walked along, they saw Markus. Azure put on a stronger face. To not show weakness.

Naimo
Bella was walking around town on her own, Breaker walking next to her at a steady pace. She wasn't really doing anything; she was just bored. She liked talking to Breaker; he was good company. They found an empty bench to sit on, where they sat in silence, observing their surroundings.
