  1. 1. Which band is better?

There's a huge difference between these bands.

Slipknot has a good vocalist, and Korn's vocalist is just plain retarded. Seriously, I started listening to one of their albums and I was like, "okay this is pretty cool", and then the dude starts singing and I was like WTF SHUT IT OFF.

  • Slipknot uses hardcore and metal growls, KoRn uses hardcore vocals with hip-hop
elements like beatboxing and more clean vocals.
  • IMO, I like Korn more because it's a bit more varied, both bands are kinda overrated and there are a multitude of choice
much better than those 2. nonpoint or skindred > korn and Slayer or in flames > slipknot.

Slayer and In Flames are nothing like Slipknot... Not exactly sure why you would compare them. They're three different bands in three different sub-genres of metal.

  • nothing about skindred or nonpoint?
  • yeah, obvious Slayer and In Flames aren't the same as slipknot. In Flames is a bit more Melodic Metal (at least some of the newer stuffz) and Slayer is a thrash band, but they have similarities and both have more musical talent than slipK.

Ah. I get what you're saying. I had misunderstood. I thought you were comparing them to bands you thought were of the same genre. My mistake.

You might as well compare the Jonas Brothers to Tool. Why compare these bands at random' date=' they are completely different.

They're the same genre...nu metal?

Also, Korn > Slipknot.

I only like Slipknot's first two albums, the rest sucked.

Korn is still badass with their newer sounds.

Also, Dope. I'm pretty sure they're nu metal if I remember correctly.

They're better than Slipknot and have a similar sound.

Everything Sucks

My favorite is Everything Sucks.

I just don't like the shorter length of their tracks.

I like neither really.

Plus, KoRn's singer almost hurt my ears once. It was at my friends house. When the singing started, "What the f*ck is that?" came to mind.

SlipK, talent is to mild. Plus too many kids at my school at listening to it. Drives me insane.

So neither.

They are almost the same' date=' but I prefer S.K better though KORN has been doing music longer I still like S.K the most

Anyone like In flames? They are from Sweden

In Flames used to be decent. They, along with many other bands I used to enjoy, sold out and haven't been the same. It certainly is a shame. Ever since they found the mainstream, the quality of their music has been falling steadily downhill.

Lets see..... Slipknot has two crappy drummers' date=' two crappy guitarists, an ok bassist, a good singer and lame songs. Korn has crappy everything except for a few decent songs.

You be the judge.

I hate Slipknot with a passion, but if you think Joey is a crappy drummer, you need to re-listen. He's not nearly as good as some other drummers in metal (Lord Marco, Flo Mounier, George Kollias, etc.), but he's easily one of the best drummers in the crappy mainstream metal scene.
