i can't get my card to show on a thread

I thought it was more like:

1) Click the finished card.

2) A code has appeared underneath the card. Copy the code.

3) Create a thread.

4) Paste the code into the thread.

5) Post the thread.

6) Rejoice.

I've seen his thread. He was missing one of the tags so I jsut thought that would be more helpful :)
