How to make Jappenese cards using ms paint

Recommended Posts

Hello, this tut is easy, and its how to make jap cards, if you dont care that it correct then it wont matter, using my way the jap wont be correct with your cards effect but it will still look good. im not good with instuctions so if you still want to do this just order 1 from my shop http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-135827-page-1.html

1. open ms paint

2. copy, paste your card in ms paint, you may have to resize your card

3. go to yugioh wikia and serach for a jap card with the same card color, like if your cards an effect card(orange) serch for an effect jap card (Orange)

4. copy and paste that into ms paint

5. this what your ms paint should look like at this point

6. there should be a tool bar on the left with a bunch of images and stuff, like text tool, the airbrush thing, the bucket of paint, paint brush, pencil, ect

7. use the Select tool on the side( The image of a doted box) and then on the bootom there will be 2 more images where there both the same besides the 1 box is overlapping the colored towers, and the other is where its blending in, chose the first 1

8. go 2 the jap card and highlight the whole name, and move it so the whole name is perfectly over the name box

9. should look like this at this point

10. then use the same technique and highlight the whole description and put it inside the desciption box

11. should look like this at this point

56006293.jpg

12. use the same technique that you used for the name, and description and highlight the name on the bottom of the card, and move it so it fits perfectly under the description box, and above the gray card outline

13. should look like this at this point.

14. since your this far, you will now realize that your card has ancient fairy dragons effect, but like i said using this method, is easy but its incorrect,

it still looks good

15. now the card is perfect, now just resize the canvas, so the only thing that's showing is your finished card, then just save it as, whatever you desire, and upload it to imageshack, so you can show it off

16. This is what the finished product will look like

17. plz enoy, and remeber its incorrect but it still looks good

this is just ripping konami. Lrn2gfx, pl0x. Look, taking something from a card doesn't make it japanese. It's just a real card with a crappy attempt to make a japanese card.

When you learn to do stuff really well, you can make a japanese card like this:

You need to get the correct fonts and find out the exact translation of it.

Getting it translated in an online translator is not an "exact" translation.

And you guys can stop flaming against him now, he was only trying to help the others who can't get GIMP or PS. As far as that goes, that's pretty good, for Paint.

Ok, it's really good and may prove helpful. But really, ripping them off existing cards isn't making JPN cards.

  • 2 weeks later...

Unless you're fluent in Japanese' date=' any "Japanese" card you make is going to be inaccurate. Its a creative idea for using paint. I don't like it personally, but that's because I know a smattering of katakana and can tell its not right XD

i dont like it either its just a fun and easy way to make jap cards

yes uncorrect

but its for people who dont have gimp or photoshop

The result for the title isn't that bad.

Although it's stupid that you're just ripping from regular cards anyway' date=' the result for the whole card is still bad. :|
