ragnarok1945
yeah well the Saw 5 ones were the best, showing just how long Hoffman had been working with Jigsaw. The ones from Saw 4 still have more explaining to do
Cloister
yes, but I didn't really like 4, don't know why, but do you know who Obi is?
ragnarok1945
Sorry, that's from Saw 2, which is the only Saw film I haven't seen yet
Cloister
you really should see it, it's a big part of the serie, and jigsaw is really bad-ass in that filmI have noticed that all the traps and games have become more mechanical and a lot larger now
ragnarok1945
yeah Saw 6's interviews admitted that, which is why the 6th film will have a combination of both small AND large traps. For some fans, the large traps felt worse than the small ones.
Jacoby746
Star Wars better watch out. Saw's already caught up to them.
ragnarok1945
but did any of the 6 Star Wars ep have wear and tear to them?
Cloister
I really like the small traps like the bathroom and the troy's classroom trap but some larger like the mausoleum, because of the machine that goes off like in amanda's in 1Â in 4, the bed trap could have been just standing there and not even being touched, because he wasn't in it from the beginning
ragnarok1945
those were interesting too. I guess the people felt by the time of saw 6 that abducting that many people and putting them through that many traps was getting less and less realistic, so they shrank a little
Cloister
yes, but hopefully 6 will have awesome traps, wheter they're big or tiny or just different
ragnarok1945
I eventually wondered if the reason why the gore in the saw traps were later tuned down was because they didn't want other people to go ahead and actually try to make them themselves
Cloister
The bathroom trap is still the most different trap, but in a good way, because jigsaw was in the room the whole time, and that's just awesome by him to make all of that work
ragnarok1945
in the saw video game people tend to question just how many people did he steal all the TVs from with so many traps involving TV messages
Cloister
yes, but he could have bought all of them or maybe he found them on the junkyard or something In five, only 2 traps don't have TV, the crushing wall and the cube trap But the tape-player is involved in many traps as well as the TV
ragnarok1945
that's true, and those are cheap. There were times where I almost thought that Jigsaw knew all along that Strahm would escape the water trap in the beginning of the film. That glass box with the broken shards in it was first seen in Saw 4, and I think it was before he and Jill even divorced.
Cloister
yes, he showed her that box when he had just bought his new workshop I think but the cube trap is not so much of a trap, and I think Hoffman gave Strahm the pen, since he has learned from Jigsaw, he never makes mistakes, so he couldn't have just missed that Strahm had the pen in his pocket
ragnarok1945
actually Hoffman was surprised to see Strahm survive the water trap, which meant even he if did know the pen was in his pocket, he didn't think Strahm would really do what he did to stay alive
zenonzyta01
Hi to all, I seen the SAW 1-5 but I haven't seen yet this movie. All the five are best. I'm waiting for this sixth part. Have any one this movie? I want it.

Cloister
Saw is like the only movie serie where no movie has been leaking out on the internet before showing in the cinema
ragnarok1945
I never knew that. Still I get the feeling if they keep the series going TOO long it will

ragnarok1945
well did it air in another country before it aired in the US or something? If so then technically it doesn't count
Cloister
I like in sweden, but the release dates is not that different, but I don't know if he counted the swedish release date or in US
ragnarok1945
well that's irrelavant. It comes out in less than 2 weeks. We've already waited 11 and a half months, so it's not a big deal
