ragnarok1945
exactly my point, which is why I simply am not convinced Dr. Gordon will appear in anything but flashbacks in Saw
Cloister
Hopefully he will be in the movie at all. Is he confirmed to return?

ragnarok1945
well the producers said don't expect something HUGE during the interview
Cloister
Okay, yeah, then he might not be in the movie (that much).
ragnarok1945
as far as I know if he died, they're not going to make it an obvious death like he simply died from blood loss
Cloister
Yeah, I figure that Jigsaw captured him again and put him in a trap.
ragnarok1945
that I'm unsure of remember, if you pass the test, Jigsaw would let you go unless he feels you didn't learn your lesson (but if that's true, it's not likely you'd pass the test in the first place)
Cloister
Yes, he told him to kill Adam, which he didn't.So I am not that unsure actually. But it is not that possible that he did, don't ask me why, just feel so.
ragnarok1945
well it wouldn't surprise me if flashbacks reveal Amanda killed him After all, she did for Adam, as explained in Saw
ArcticFox
So boring, how can you watch people being tortured for hours on end O_O
Cloister
@Rag - that's true, maybe she did. ArcticFox - Well. They give me a kick. Not that I think what he is doing is right, but I like them.
ragnarok1945
you know it makes me wonder how long before this is actually implemented in RL psychological treatments
Cloister
Haha, yeah, maybe they will be.
ragnarok1945
except I doubt it'll work. It'll only succeed in tramuatizing them for life
Cloister
Yeah, I think so too. But they are really hard to look at psychologically.. Since they are not only about gore and killing, it's also about appreciating your life and losing people you love and other feelings involved and I think the movies have tought some people those things. ragnarok1945
true. I know with some people you need a really heavy push in the right direction, but I still feel Jigsaw's method is TOO heavy of a push
Cloister
Yeah, me too actually. And some of these appreciate their lives. But they don't want to like cut off their arms for it.
ragnarok1945
same here. I know in many cases you need a reminder to show appreciation for life, but Jigsaw's method is a little TOO permanent of a reminder
harrysmoe32
I just think the Saw thing is getting overdone. I mean common already get something new right?
ragnarok1945
there is a story to tell here you know it's not JUST the traps, which much of the Saw fans fail to appreciate
Cloister
They most appreciate the traps, and then Jigsaw. But to me the story and the message is the best in these movies.
