there WERE of course matters where I felt Jigsaw's predictions were a little TOO far fetched.

 

Yes he did say if you're good at predicting the human mind, it leaves nothing to chance. But even he isn't perfect. He admitted in Saw 5 (via flashback in Saw 2 he just lets the game play out)

 

It was a testament to the steam room trap in Saw 6

yeah that I wasn't sure either

 

Jigsaw may be a good civil engineer, and engineers are supposed to be good at how materials behave. But that's not supposed to apply to the human mind.

 

My only guess is maybe because Jill's clinic has treated so many people, and Jigsaw had been there for enough of them that he took experience from that
