ragnarok1945
oh I never saw the twlight films so I wouldn't know But so far the only CONFIRMED returning character is Hoffman, although everyone knows Jigsaw will return in flashbacks again
Cloister
I will watch the movies as long as Jigsaw is still in the movies
ragnarok1945
I may tolerate just ONE Saw film without Jigsaw just as a test to see what it's like, but if I don't like the film I'm never watching a Saw film without Jigsaw in flashbacks again
Cloister
You're absolutely right, he is the one making the movies what they are
ragnarok1945
Yeah I know, in all the Saw interviews they all saw had it not been for Bell to play the role of Jigsaw, the series probably would have died out after Saw
Cloister
I personally think he is much creepier than Anthony Hopkins
ragnarok1945
I never watched Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, or Red Dragon, so I wouldn't know
Cloister
Alot of people find them very scary, but I find the Saw movies scarier on almost every level
ragnarok1945
true but those are actually designed to kill With the exception of Saw 6, all the Saw traps are supposed to give you an escape chance
Cloister
Well, since Jigsaw didn't follow his own "rules" in 6, I found it confusing But I'm gonna watch it on the big screen, it's finally released here
ragnarok1945
I told you, Jigsaw broke his own rules because with William it's a different situation. He was trying to send a message that William's policy has flaws
Cloister
I know that, but I lost a little respect of him because of that, since he never had killed anyone before
ragnarok1945
yeah but all the others weren't as a personal vendetta as this one
Cloister
No that's true
ragnarok1945
and this was also the reason why he actually showed his face on the tv screen all the others he used Billy the Puppet because it was to hide his own identity. But he and William met even before he took on the Jigsaw role
Cloister
Yes, and I have always wondered why Billy is called Billy since they never ever mention the puppet is named Billy in the movies
ragnarok1945
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_%28Saw%29 That should explain it
Cloister
Okay, thank youWell, still think it was cool when billy fell out of the box in 6 and you saw the whole billy and not just on the TV
ragnarok1945
yeah, I liked seeing the puppet face to face for once The producers of Saw 6 said they wanted to mix things up, via tape recorder, billy the puppet on tv, and the real puppet, otherwise it would get too boring
Cloister
well, they did a pretty damn good job then!
ragnarok1945
see as for you saying you lost a little respect for Jigsaw because he broke his own rules, this is merely to prove he's still a human being If you remember back in Saw 5, during the flashback when Jigsaw and Hoffman were seeing out how the trap for Paul Leahy played out (remember Paul was among the very first Jigsaw victims, I think before even Saw 1), Jigsaw specifically told Hoffman that emotions are never allowed to get in the way of this However, it also proves no one is immune to personal vendettas, not even Jigsaw himself
Cloister
Well, you're right, but he had a chance, but I know in 6 Jigsaws emotions were involved in the "Main Game"
ragnarok1945
yeah but that's just it. He might have done the same thing to Amanda as well had he learned Amanda was the one directly responsible for Jill's miscarriage
Cloister
I think that was a really big twist in the movie, that she made Cecil run in (to get drugs?)
