This one takes place in the city of Aegis, a city that holds a dark secret that should've never been uncovered...... And a duelist new to Aegis soon finds himself deep in trouble. He stumbles upon a secret organization who devoted themselves to finding the key to finding the 3 most powerful cards in the existence of the world... [spoiler=Epilogue]In all of the dueling world, the dream of most duelists is to come to Aegis, the dueling capital of the world. Some come for dueling and for some of the most powerful cards in the world. Others come to meet Yugi Moto, Jaden Yuki, Seto Kaiba, and all of the other greatest duelists of the world.Some come for even different reasons...... A young, blue-haired 18 year-old boy shot by the large gate of Aegis as 2 men in coats came swiftly after. "Damn, Why did I have to pick this of all days to find the one group of people who plan to take over Aegis using Duel Monster Cards.... This is the best day ever... ," the boy said as he jumped over a boulder, only to find the 2 men somehow in front of him. Both men, wearing black robes with an ancient symbol painted on their hands. The boy couldn't see their faces, as the robes shadowed every part of their head except for their cold, dead eyes. Even though the boy couldn't see, he could tell the men had smirks on their faces as they simultaneously jerked their hands out at the boy. He retaliated and jumped up and did a backflip over the boulder. He looked back and smiled. "Boom.. ," the boy said as sparks flew and both men quickly realized that while the boy was sitting there, in what they thought was terror, was really setting a strategically placed trap. At the moment they had time to screen, flames roared, booms shattered nearby windows, and everything around the explosion were blown back. "Nuclear Spark Bursts.... the perfect trap for any dimwitted fools.. ," the boy said as he walked into Aegis. Everyone stopped and stared while the boy, who, at this point, had been hit, stomped on, and kicked half-way to death by the same 2 men who chased him. The boy stopped for a minute to think about what the leader of the group said to his men before he made a break for freedom.."..Once we find the key, we will unleash the wrath of the 3 Dark Lords upon Aegis, and then the world...." The boy continued on and sat down under an umbrella with a girl wearing sunglasses. "You're late, Shimato.. Very late," the girl said. "I got backtracked... by some... nice men," Shimato said. "At least you're alive. By the way, that organization that you "met up with" is called the Khaos Army. They're searching for something they believe is hidden under Aegis," the girl explained. "Well, thanks for the help, but I gotta get cleaned up. This bloody mess I'm calling clothes isn't gonna cut it," Shimato said. He got up and headed back to his housed. The sun was blazing, and it was hurting his eyes. After getting to his house, and withstanding the sun, he took a shower, got some fresh clothes on, and heading out the door, he went downtown. "Might as well head out for some dueling fun," Shimato said. He got out his deck and his duel disk, which he got specially custom made. "Hey, you lookin' for a duel?" a guy sporting a mohawk said "Sure, why not," Shimato said. Both players simultaneously yelled, "DUEL!!" To be continued..... [spoiler=What the duels will be played on. (Playmat)]This is what the playmat will look like. The card backs used on the template are custom, as will the cards be as well. Let me know what you think. This is going to be my best written work yet, I can see it!! I'll post more info on the story soon. Also, I'm going to post a duel mat soon as well as some of the upcoming cards. So Domino City is no longer the duelling capital, now it is Aegis. Interesting, very interesting. The play mat looks good also. I´ll be back when you post the first episode. EliminateHRN Posted July 21, 2009 Report Share Posted July 21, 2009 A Epilogue is the ending, Prologue is the beginning to start setting up the story. Anyway, it was good. I wanted to describe how the boy's clothes, the city, and the duel disk looked. But maybe it's just me. I really think this could become a great fan-fic; I can't wait to read Chapter 1.
