An old rivalry[/align]

Keith Whlie 1st began dueling in the satellite region in of new age Houston. He began to show true dueling skill at the age of 10 and soon was accepted into the duel academy, Ra yellow dorm. There he met one of his best friends Carman Rose who was also a dueling genius. Together they took the competition down in become one of the best duelist there.

3 years past and they soon graduated the academy. There grades were equal in status so they were both the top ranking students of the academy.

 

3 more years have passed since the 2 graduated and they grew apart from each other, each going their separate ways. Carman went on to becoming a pro duelist while Keith had a short career until one day he found out his parents had been murdered by a psychopath duelist. He then spiraled out of control having a nervous breakdown, committing crimes and losing duel after duel after duel. All of his sponsors let him go, crowds booed at him, and worst of all he was always alone.

 

One day Keith was sitting in his 4 bed room house…He had foster parents but they were never home and treated him with no respect or love when his house phone rang. He slowly walked to it dragging himself across the room, Depressed as ever. He picked up the phone “hello” He said in a deep gloomy as ever. “Keith is that you! Please Keith I need your help!” a female voice came out the phone. Keith the voice almost immediately. “Carman…is that you?” he said with a little less gloom in it. “Yes, yes it is me! Look I need your help! I’ve been abducted by this psycho! He has locked me inside this room…it appears to a large warehouse! I need you to come and rescue me! Oh no…Please…don’t hurt…AHHHHHHHH!”Carman quickly spit out before she dropped the phone.”Carman!!! Carman What happening!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!” cried Keith…

 

The phone was then picked up by the abductor…’you want her back Keith meet me at the abandoned warehouse by midnight…” A very deep male voice that Keith did not recognize.”Hopefully u will be there or the girl suffers…also bring a dueling desk and disk…yes I know about your history…I like a challenge…”The phone line then went dead and Keith was left speechless…he looked at the wall to see a clock which read 8:34.”Midnight…I won’t let another one die…I will save her.” he said inside his head.

 

He then rushed to his room and searched the mess to find a golden plated duel disk and a deck wrapped in plastic. He slid it into his pocket and soon rushed out the house with the duel disk attached to his wrist. The warehouse was a ways away so he had to get moving. He took 3 buses to get to the warehouse. He arrived to his destination he was wearing a watch on this right hand…it read 11:56. He took a deep breath, exhales the breath and busted through the door. He then yelled “CARMAAAAAAN!!” She was on the top floor of the 2 story warehouse. The abductor was in the room with Carman. She was blindfolded and gagged. She mad muffled noises that hardly echoed in the room.

 

The abductor smiled a crazy smile. ”looks like the entertainment has arrived” He cackled quietly then walked over to Carman grabbed her arm and snatched her up and they ran out of the room.

Keith began to walk up the stairs to the next floor when Carman appeared out of the shadows. She was free of all restraints and she ran over Keith.

 

She hugged him. Then Keith saw a movement in the shadow. It was the abductor. “Come out of the shadows you freak”. And the abductor walked out of the shadowed corner. Keith was shocked to see that the abductor was a person he knew. It was his old friend Tommy collus. “It’s! Why…did you take her!?” he cried. All Tommy could do was smile…Then He cackled manically “I just wanted to duel you! “. He said with shifty eyes. Then he mindlessly activated his duel disk attached to his arm. “Duel me and I will let you guys leave. Do you accept?” Tommy said.

 

Then Keith stared at Tommy. “You already gave me Carman why would I Duel you?” he said in a puzzled manor. Then Tommy began to cackle again. “I gave you the girl because I felt like it. Also I know that you will never pass up a duel. Especially with your frienemy asking you to duel.” Keith did always want to test his friend’s power. His so-called friend. Carman then began to jump in the small conversation. “Keith Get us the hell out of here! Don’t duel this crazy PERSON!” Keith then looked at Carman…He spoke quietly” Let me do this Carman. I always wanted to duel him…I would love for you to stay with me. “

 

Carman always had a soft spot for Keith when he asked her to do something. She responded with a nod of the head. Then she took a seat at the bottom of the stairs while the 2 boys rushed down the stairs. The 2 positioned themselves 10 feet away from each other while Keith activated his duel disk. Next they both shuffled their decks and inserted them into the deck slots. They both then shouted “DUEL!!”

 

Keith: 4000

Tommy: 4000

 

Keith- I’ll start with my cunning fox in attack mode!

 

(A brown fox appeared on the field).

 

Cunning Fox 400 ATK.

 

Keith- Next I’ll end my turn.

 

Tommy- let me begin and end with 3 face-down

 

Keith: 4000

Tommy: 4000

 

Keith- No monster? You’re not playing a good duel so far.

 

Tommy- We are just starting! It’s your turn.

 

Keith- I’ll now summon nostalgic knight!

 

(A rainbow armored knight appeared).

 

Nostalgic knight 1400 ATK.

 

Keith- Now I’ll attack you with nostalgic knight!

 

Tommy- You wish it would! I now activate my 1st face-down card dark spirit of the silent! I negate your attack and then make your weaker monster attack!

 

(The knight stopped its attack and went back into his starting first position. The fox then made a move for Tommy’s life-points. The Strike hit Tommy with pen point precision.).

 

Tommy: 3600

 

Keith- I’ll place 1 card face-down. Your move Tommy.

 

Tommy- I’ll draw… I activate my 2 other face-down. Veil of darkness

and two man battle cell! Now we can both special summon 1 level 4 normal monster from our hand during our turn. And then my veil of darkness allows me to reveal and discard a dark monster that I draw so then I can draw a brand new card. I didn’t draw a dark monster so my card does not activate. But next I summon my shadow knight Archfiend in attack mode!

 

(A large demon in abnormal wizard robes).

 

Shadow knight Archfiend 2000 ATK.

 

Carman- Those Monsters requires life points.

 

Tommy- Yeah they do…but I have to say good bye to those terms! I play Terraforming!

 

Keith- Oh no it’s time for a field spell!

 

Tommy-I now add my Pandemonium to my hand!

 

(He scanned his deck. Then added the field spell to his hand).

 

Tommy- I now play pandemonium!!!

 

(A Large dark coliseum appeared).

 

Tommy- This card negates all my monsters life point paying abilities. Now I attack your cunning fox with Shadow knight!! Wasp Swarm!! Wasp Swarm!

 

(Swarms of wasp came out of the fiend’s body and attack the fox. But a vortex appeared and the swarms went into it).

 

Keith-Watch out because my negate attack activated.

 

Tommy- Hey I can activate my monsters ability since it was targeted by

cards ability.

 

(6 different color spheres appeared and a small flame rotated around the spheres).

 

Tommy-Of the flames stops on 3 your trap is negated and destroyed.

 

Carman- its okay Keith the odds are against him!

 

(The flame stopped on the orange sphere 3).

 

Carman-WHAT!?

 

(The vortex disappeared and the fox was eaten alive by the wasp).

 

Keith: 2400

 

Keith- Man that was a big hit.

 

Tommy- Now look at life points

 

Keith- Lets keep this going!

 

Tommy- I will now end my turn since I do not have a level 4 normal

monster.

 

(Tommy cackled manically)

 

Tommy: 3600

Keith: 2400

 

Keith- I will draw! Hey remember my cunning Fox will come on back thanks to its ability it comes back with 100 less ATK points bit with 1 extra level making it level 2!

 

Cunning fox 300 ATK. LV 2

 

Keith- Now I will summon Castle Dragon in attack mode!

 

(A Small clear Dragon appeared on Field).

 

Castle Dragon 1300 ATK.

 

Keith- Now I will tune my level 2 castle dragon with level 2 cunning fox and then level 4 nostalgic Knight! I Synchro summon my light end Dragon!!!

 

(A snake like dragon with silver skin and angelic wings emerged on to the field).

 

Light end dragon 2600 ATK 2100 DEF.

 

Keith- Now my monsters… (IT inside thoughts) Do I want to activate its effect… he could possibly negate it and destroy my newly summoned monster. No I won’t risk it. (ST Stop thinking). I will now attack your shadow knight with Light end Dragon! Shining flare!!

 

(The serpent attacked the knight and destroyed it).

 

Tommy- 3000

 

Keith- I end with 1 face-down card.

 

Tommy- I activate my spell cards special effect! When an Archfiend monster is destroyed and sent to the graveyard I can add another archfiend monster with less of level then my destroyed monster.

 

Keith- your spell does not work on me since I don’t have normal monsters.

 

Tommy- my turn! HAHAH I send my dark attributed cyber archfiend to the graveyard thanks to my veil of darkness’s effect. Now I draw a new card! I now Draw! Now I play the spell card Dark world dealing! This allows both of us to draw 1 card but the new discard another card.

 

(The 2 drew one card and then discarded 1 other)

 

Tommy- Then I’ll add the spell the master of Dark Ruler! I now can special summon 1 archfiend monster from my graveyard! I summon my Imprisoned Queen Archfiend!

 

(A large demon abomination with human statue appeared).

 

Imprisoned queen archfiend 2600 ATK 1700 DEF.

 

Carman- That card matches the dark end Dragon’s points!

 

Tommy- Now I will normal summon my infernal queen archfiend.

 

(Another fiendish looking creature appeared).

 

Infernal queen Archfiend 900 ATK.

 

Tommy- I now give my imprisoned queen a boost of 1000 thanks to my other queen’s effect.

 

Imprisoned queen archfiend 3600

 

Tommy- I still have one card left so now I will now give infernal queen a

boost with Dark energy this gives him 300 ATK points!

 

Infernal queen archfiend 1200 ATK.

 

Keith- His monster is stronger than mine…

 

Tommy- Time to keep on fighting… just like you wanted Keith. I will destroy your monster with my imprisoned queen!

 

Keith- NO!

 

(The dragon was then blown away by the mighty attack of the imprisoned queen.)

 

K: 1400

 

Tommy- Now I’m going to attack you directly!

 

(The queen slashed Keith)…

 

K: 200

 

Tommy- I took out Light end Dragon… Make your final turn

 

Carman- This most likely is the last turn for Keith.

 

Keith- Oh I surely will! DRAW!

 

Keith: 200

Tommy: 3000

 

Keith- I now activate my face-down Subtraction reaction! Now I can

special summon up to 3 monsters from either my graveyard on my field they both with 1400 or less points. Since that is the difference in our life points. I summon castle Dragon and cunning fox and also nostalgic knight!

Castle Dragon 1300 ATK.lv3

Cunning fox 200 ATK lv3

Nostalgic knight 1400 ATK lv4

 

Keith- Now I play the spell card level slash this card gives me 1000 life points but I cut 1 monsters level in half if it is able! I now cut my knights point in half!

 

Nostalgic lv2

 

Carman- Does he plan on Synchro summoning again!?

 

Keith- you got it girl! I will now tune my castle dragon to my knight and

fox! So now I will now Synchro summon My ALANTIC DRAGON!

 

(A light blue muscular dragon appeared).

 

Atlantic Dragon 1200 ATK.

 

Tommy- A level 8 Synchro monster with 1200 ATK points? What is this a joke?

 

Keith & Carman- just wait for the effect.

 

Keith- my monster now gains 800 points for every monster used in its

Synchro summoning! I used 3 so it gains…

 

Tommy- 2400!!!?

 

Carman- This is over.

 

Atlantic Dragon 3600 ATK.

 

Keith- I now will now activate its 2nd effect which allows me to destroy 1 monster on the field as long as I remove from play 1 monster that is equal to your monsters original attack points.

 

Tommy- wait my queen has a 2600 original points.

 

Keith- yes it is! I remove my Light end Dragon so now your imprisoned

queen archfiend is no more!

 

(The Image of Light end Dragon appeared and then wrapped its serpentine body around the queen and dragged her to her doom).

 

Tommy- Oh no my queen!

 

Keith- Lets finish this! I will now give up 1000 life points to deal you 1000 thanks to my spell release!

 

Keith: 200 Tommy: 2000

 

Tommy- oh no…I’m done for!

 

Keith- I’m just glad you are not cackling for once… Now I wanna go home so I will attack the infernal queen! With Atlantic Dragon’s Radiant Blast!!

 

(A Light blue beam of light obliterates the monster and wins Keith the duel).

 

Final score

Keith: 200 Tommy: 0000

 

As the burst of smoke began to fade, Keith and carman made a fast dart for the door. They made it out of the warehouse and onto a bus. carman decided not to report the police since Keith asked her not to. She ended up spending the night at his home. She was going to get His career up and going again...Meanwhile In the warehouse Tommy was eating a donut in the dark. He was also on the phone with someone."yeah he has not lost his touch, That much is true. he could be a great asset to us... You should try him out your self." Tommy spoke over the phone. The person over the phone responded" He will not be let ot of our sites...let me assure you that. He shows great skill you say..well i will be the judge of that..."

Chapter 2 The Former Pro Is Back

“Carman I don’t want do this!”Keith argued as Carmen drove her car. Carman arranged a duel that will kick start Keith’s career again. “You are going and that is final!”Carman yelled back. “I pulled so many strings for you to get this duel! You are going to partake in it!” Carman then pulled her focus on to the road again. Keith began to pout in the front seat of the card. He folded his arms and then shut his mouth. He stared at the road.

 

The 2 did not speak for a couple moments, Carman broke the silence. ‘You know I’m only doing this for your benefit. I only want you to live up to your full potential please…I do all kinds of crap for you all the time. Why don’t you…for once… do something for ME!”Her face turned a slightly red shade. Keith then thought over the times he asked her for things and to do things. He finally gave in.”I will do…”He agreed “Who exactly am I going to duel?” he asked her. She replied “An old retired duelist Jamieson Jetuet”

 

Keith knew that duelist from the man’s past career. ”um…the guy is 23 years old,and he is retired from pro dueling?” He asked. “He retired from dueling not from keeping a steady job! He works at duel academy as a professor.” Keith thought that that was just ridiculous. “He gave up the money and fame for SCHOOL?” Keith said Carman exhaled her breath. The car turned into a large parking lot. “We are here” She said with the slight sound of irritation in her voice. The two got out of the car and began their way to the large stadium.

 

Meanwhile inside the building a man was preparing for a duel. He wore a simple black suit. He attached the duel disk on to his arm and inserted his deck into the slot. He then sat down in a chair to think to himself.” My opponent today will be 1 of the past duel academy students…or so Ms. Rose claims.” He thought. “I hope the kids at the academy are on their best behavior for the substitute…There shall be grave consequences for those who are bad students.” A smile then appeared on his face. “I cannot worry about those kids on the day that I make a young duelist dreams come true. I hope that he does not expect an easy duel…” He thought to himself. His smile soon turned into a determined face.” Time to do this!” He motivated himself. Carman is about to go through the double doors which lead to the audience seats and the duel arena. “Keith are you nervous”? She asked him with a small once of compassion in voice. He looked at her and smiled “No I was just thinking about our days at duel academy.” He answered. This took Carman by surprise. “What about them?” She said. “Nothing really… just about how you used to always get me into duels even though I did not ask for them.” He gave her a hard stare but then softens his expression and smiled. The magician created a magic spell then the silver sphere disintegrated into light particles.

 

M.C- Oh our A.P.D has just taken a blow from the old magician’s effect and it seems his turn is about to end.

 

Keith- Not before I activate my battle spheres effect it brings the destroyed monster that it just destroyed back but you take 1000 points of damage.

 

Jamieson- oh…good effect… I bring my Old Vindictive Magician back.

 

Old Vindictive Magician 450 ATK.

 

Keith- Now a grand of damage!

 

The spheres reappeared and then slammed into Jamieson.

Keith- Now I play 1 face-down… your turn.

Keith- GO! Metallic Blast!

 

(A large metal ray shot out of the dragon’s mouth towards Jamieson…Then suddenly the attack stopped and synchro boost was gone).

Jamieson- I activated twister and nutrient Z! The twister destroys your boost at the price of 500 points while nutrient Z adds 4000 life points to my life points since i was dealt over 2000 then your attack is subtracted from my points!

M.C- um… I’m looking at the field and the score and our APD is currently losing big time.

Keith- why should I not have one…it’s called Soul duo! This card allows me to summon 1 monster in your graveyard to my field and then I can take control of one monster on your field. All I do is pay 1000 life points.

Keith- I will take both Dark Magician and Dark magician Knight!

Jamieson- No you stole my monsters also my Dark Magician Girl loses her boost since you took out my Dark Magician!

Keith- Now I will activate my monsters effect I can destroy up to 2 cards on my field and for every one monster sent to the grave my monster gains an additional attack!

Keith- looks like I’m a pro duelist now! I will attack your magician with my knight! GO Dark Magic Slash!

 

The swords man released a magical blast that destroyed Dark Magician Girl.

Keith- Now My Trident Dragion will attack! Single head devastator!!

 

1 of the 3 headed dragons’s released a flaming blast! Jamison was shocked at the power he was about to take!

Keith- Now let’s activate my dragon’s effect I release my knight so I can give my Dragon another attack!

 

Jamieson- Oh crap… This is…the end of this duel I guess.

 

Keith- Double head Devastator!!!

 

2 of the heads dragon spat out large flames and ended the duel.

“And it looks as though our APD duelist has beaten our pro” The M.C announced Carman started to clap for Keith’s win…He walked off of the stage soon after. Jamieson the followed Keith. The M.C then began to speak again” Now it’s time for the 2nd round of our APD! Will the following contestant please make their way to the stage: Brittney Namoa and Johnson Baxter.”

Meanwhile Jamieson caught up with Keith who was in the prep room. He was about to ask a couple of questions when Keith threw him off with this response: “Do not give me praise…I don’t want it…I did not even want to become a Pro again so she stuck me on a tournament! Ugh! I could just scream I’m so mad…” Jamieson was a bit confused. He said “I’m going to leave you alone now…besides I got to catch a plane back to duel academy island…I be seeing you around then?” Keith nodded his head. “I highly doubt that professor.” Keith gave a light smile then Jamieson left the room.

Chapter 3 the forest and water

 

The crowd chatted amongst themselves while the duel was being prepped for the next duel. Keith remained backstage and watched from the television inside there. Keith is still not happy about becoming a pro duelist right on the spot like that but he was not just going to walk away and let the opportunity pass.

Meanwhile the duelist stepped onto the stage and took their places. Brittney look a bit nervous but held most of her composure, While Johnson Baxter waved to the crowd enjoying his time of fame. After all of his greetings were finished he walked with such dazzling style onto the stage.

He bowed to Brittney; in return she gave him a smug look and then raised her middle finger at the man. The man was appalled at her rudeness. He said to her “You know all I wanna do is let you win but now you have gone and disgraced not only me and my…”

 

“Get a Damn life you asswipe!” Brittney in response to his incomplete statement…Johnson then glared at her. From the locker room Keith is busy laughing at Brittney’s little outburst. The chuckled a bit as well. Then the M.C finally introduced the 2 duelist and then scram “NOW LET THE DUEL BEGIN!’

Johnson: 4000

 

Johnson- since I was verbally assaulted I will begin… (Draws card). I set 1 monster and 1 face-down card. Your move

 

Brittney- okay let get this started. I’ll start with 2 face-downs and then my 7-Colored fish in attack mode!

 

A very rainbow colored fish appeared on the field.

 

7- Colored fish 1800 ATK.

 

M.C- This girl is starting strong folks.

 

Brittney- now I will attack your face-down card with my monster! Go rainbow slap!

 

(The fish jumped up into the air and then slashed at the card but then was rebounded back to its spot on the where it began.)

 

Johnson- the “unsuccessfully” attack was my Prickle fairy…

Brittney- damn…

 

Brittney: 3800

 

(The monster was a humanoid vine with vine limbs and a leaf green body. She had a devilish smile.)

 

Brittney - I’ll end my turn…damn

 

Johnson – My turn now. I summon Homunculus the Alchemic Being

 

(A humanoid appeared with markings of alchemic sign)…

 

Johnson- I will play double summon I release my fairy so my gigaplant can have its moment on the field!

 

A terrifyingly big monster appeared on the field. It resembled a Godzilla of plant.

 

Gigaplant 2400 ATK.

 

Brittney – dude that is one god damn ugly plant.

 

Johnson- you know what I do not like your attitude towards my monsters. So now I activate my ultimate offering trap.

 

M.C- since the plant is a Gemini monster he can Gemini summon the monster at 500 l-points…

 

Johnson- How right you are M.C. I will now Gemini summon my monster.

 

(The monster gains a light green glow).

 

Johnson- Now I activate my monster effect to special summon my Prickle fairy to the field in DEF mode!

 

(The leaf green monster appeared on the field with the same devilish look…)

 

Brittany- (IM) He just keeps adding on his field. But I can destroy his gigaplant with my face-down…won’t he be so surprised?

 

Johnson- now my gigaplant will attack your fish! Giga release!

 

Britney- stop your engines a sec man I activate Fish depth charge! I give up my fish so then I can destroy gigaplant and then I can draw 1 card!

 

Johnson- hmm... predictable

 

The 2 monsters turned into light particles while Brittney drew a card.

Johnson- well…I guess I will end with attack you directly with my homunculus!

 

The monster jumped into the air and released a shiny blast at Brittney.

 

Brittney: 2200

 

M.C- A big hit by Baxter himself. How will Brittney, our APD rebound from that?

 

Brittney- it won’t be so hard if u ask me. I draw! I activate off my field “call of the haunted” so now my fish will return to me!

 

(The rainbow fish reappeared on the field).

 

7 colored fish 1800 ATK.

 

M.C- and the 1800 threat is back again.

 

Brittney- now I set a monster and play my field spell umiiruka!

 

(The field then was flooded with water).

 

Johnson- water decks…hate them.

 

Brittney- Now this card give all water monster 500 ATK points but decreases the DEF by 400 so now TAKE EFFECT UMIIRUKA!

 

7 – Colored fish 1800 ~ 2300 ATK. 800 ~ 400 DEF.

 

Brittney- Now I will set a monster and then I will attack the fairy!

 

Johnson- why her?

 

(The monster then cut the vine made creature in many pieces).

 

Johnson- Why would you attack her?

 

Brittney- many good reasons…1 face-down card.

 

Johnson- well are you done then?

 

Brittney- yep…

 

Johnson- DRAW! I play card of saintnity so now we draw till we have 6

cards… Now I will play lightning vortex! So now I can destroy all of your monster by sending a card to the graveyard?

 

Brittany: crap no!

 

(all the monsters were shot down by lightning).

 

Johnson- Now I will summon lord poison, but he won’t be staying very long because I release my 2 monsters to summon TERRA- the plant knight!

 

(The monster had bark for skin and a stone sword as a weapon).

 

Terra – the plant knight 3000 ATK.

 

Johnson: 3000

 

Johnson- this card has the ability to remove all monsters from my graveyard and it gain 200 for each plant monster I remove. I remove my fairy, Homunculus, and gigaplant so now my monster gains 600 ATK.

 

TERRA – the plant knight 3600 ATK.

 

Johnson- Now I will attack your damn monster with terra!

 

Brittany- well this is over…I activate magic cylinder!

 

M.C- WHAT!

 

Johnson- That CHEAP!

 

Keith- oh come on that’s how it’s going to end man she cannot be a pro with that win.

 

Johnson: 0

Brittany: 2200

 

“With an astounding 2200 life points remaining our winner is Brittany Namoa!”The M.C yelled. The crowd booed Brittany’s win. While Johnson walked over to her and bowed in defeat...“You played a valiant game my young friend” he congratulated her. She was so confused at the praise she was receiving from him. She said to him “why are you so happy about your lost if I have been such a b**** to you?” all he did was smile and say “I don’t hold grudges girl” then they both chuckled and walked off the stage.

i tried to read the full weather report got to 100 and stopped his grammar is just sheet and spacing like you said and he never described anything this story was crap
