This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 "Jester Lord" you control. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each Spell and Trap Card on the field. This card's name is treated as "Jester Lord" while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. If this card attacks your opponent directly, add 1 Continuous Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. Jester DunstreDARKSpellcaster1/0/0This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a "Jester Lord". Once per turn, you can return this card to your hand to increase the ATK of a monster you control by 300 for each Spell and Trap Card you control until the End Phase. Jester RokenDARK2/0/0This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a "Jester Lord". Once per turn, you can send this card on the field to the Graveyard to destroy a card your opponent controls. Jester FimsicDARKSpellcaster3/0/0This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a "Jester Lord". Once per turn, you can send this face-up card to the Graveyard to negate the activation and effect of a card that targets a monster with 0 ATK and destroy it. Jester MalinzeqDARKSpellcaster1/0/0If this card is destroyed by battle, add a "Jester Lord" or "Jester Master" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Healing FireContinuous Trap CardDuring your Standby Phase, gain Life Points equal to half the ATK of a "Jester Lord" you control. Encore! 玄魔の王 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 [spoiler=My Review]Not too bad of cards, but Jester Master doesn't specify where the card comes from and cards do not use direct damage anymore. Inflict Battle Damage by attacking directly is the term. Great support for an archetype that needs it. 8.5/10 just because Jaeger reminds me of Michael Jackson. Link to comment
Umbra Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 As a matter of fact, the previous OCG "Effect Damage" or "Direct Damage" has now been replaced with just "damage", as can be seen in recent cards such as Armory Arm. Onto the cards themselves, then. Jester Master promotes S/T overextension, as you can set multiple cards on the field for loads of ATK. Magnetic FireContinuous SpellWhile this card is face-up on the field, the effect of a face-up "Jester Lord" you control is always applied. Magnetic Fire + Limit Reverse + DNA Transplant + Machine Duplication = 3 Level 1 monsters with 3000 ATK. Win? Jester Dance is outclassed. Jester Dunstre creates massive lolbeatstick, as it's effect can be used over and over again, as long as you have a Jester Lord out. Link to comment

I know my wording changes the effect, but it brings you to the result you had in mind. How about this: Magnetic FireContinuous SpellSelect a "Jester Lord" you control when you activate this card. Negate its effect that increases its ATK. That "Jester Lord" gains 1000 ATK for every Spell and Trap Card on the field. How significant is the fact that "Jester Lord" raises its own ATK? Is it so significant to your archetype that it must be the one increasing its own ATK? If it is, then I don't know how to word it, if there is a way to word it that way. Otherwise this does basically the same thing. As for when you select the Jester Lord, do you choose one once per turn, but you can only choose one at a time? Can you only choose when you activate it? Technically, with the OCG changes lately (yes, I wish they'd just settle on one as well) it's: Magnetic FireContinuous SpellThe effect of a face-up "Jester Lord" you control is always applied. Maybe for the last one: "Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 "Jester" monster in your Graveyard (except "Jester Lord" to have this card gain its effect(s) (this effect skips activation costs and conditions)."
