Manjoume Thunder
I've always wanted to know why OCG is much slower than the TCG and cards like Scarecrow can be used effectively. They have more cards, but non of them are that game changing >.< I always thought that they have a different (better banlist), but I realised that it's the same. So why do they have so much better Meta? [spoiler=If this is not good enough for a discussion then talk about this guy] Excuse my noobishness. VolTama
I've always wondered that as well. tbh though, TCG and OCG have their own exclusives. We have cards like Battlestorm, Dark Voltanis, XX-Saber Garderstrike, and Test Tiger while they have... basicly all the Duel Terminal Archetypes. The way I see it, TCG exclusives are just... well... faster than theirs. wth is on Jutte Fighter's back? Is it some kind of soup?
Luxlord
It'd be better if people actually played monsters in face-up Attack anymore...[/failYCMlogicthateveryoneseemstouseFTL]
Flame Dragon
What do you mean slower? i just looked at two of the top decks and their BW and GBs. The same stuff we have. Also they have A LOT more exclusives, and our exclusives go over their over time. They already have all the ones up to Phantom Darkness.

Guest PikaPerson01
Because our American cards break the game.(by 'break'' date=' I mean offer alot of support for the currnet popular decks)[/quote'] The only TCG-only cards we have that matter for popular decks are Charge of the Light Brigade, Ehren, and Retiari. CrabHelmet
Occasionally it has to do with the card pool. If I recall correctly, the OCG's Emperor Control deck that defined its format couldn't possibly exist in the TCG because the key cards Thunderking/Raioh and Doomcalibre Knight didn't arrive until after new releases had already made it a moot point. Generally, though, the TCG seems rather more eager to sacrifice consistency for speed. Because our American cards break the game.(by 'break'' date=' I mean offer alot of support for the currnet popular decks)[/quote'] The only TCG-only cards we have that matter for popular decks are Charge of the Light Brigade, Ehren, and Retiari. And Ehren and Retiari aren't exactly central to their decks anyhow.
