also, i suggest making the rival very arrogant and making him have a Counter Fairies deck. Nothing is more manly than saying "No" to everything your opponent does with Counter traps and attacking with fairies. that would actually be a good deck type if the rival is a girl who always likes to be in control.

Name: Benjamin Frazzle

Deck: Counter Fairies w/ Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord

Personality: arrogant, doesn't like to lose. He will do ANYTHING to win.

Appearance: wears a white coat very similar to Kaiba's and Jack Atlas'. He also wears white gloves, much like Goodwin's. His short black hair stands up. Wears white clothes.

Favorite monster: Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord

Duel Spirit: he does not have one

 

If he becomes evil, turn his coat, clothes, and gloves black. His deck gets changed in the way that it can become one of the following:

• A Counter Fairy deck with Dark Voltanis and a few other DARK cards

• a Sky Scourge deck with counter traps, Voltanis, dark voltanis, Van'Dalgyon, more DARK fiends to allow for the utilization of Norleras.

 

Female

Name: Jessica Bridle

Deck: Counter Fairies (no Van'Dalgyon)

Personality: Very nice when in command, scary when she loses control. She does everything she does to control everything, especially during a duel. She gets vicious when the odds are against her, especially in a duel.

Appearance: Her blue hair goes slightly past her shoulders. She generally wears a blue top, blue jeans, and blue shoes. She also wears blue fingerless gloves. This represents that blue is her favorite color, since blue generally symbolizes knowledge and control.

Favorite monster: Voltanis the Adjudicator

Duel Spirit: Harvest Angel of Wisdom

 

If she becomes evil, her hair and gloves become black, and her clothes become a darker blue. Her deck can change into:

• a Fallen Angel Counter trap deck

• A Counter Fairy deck with Dark Voltanis and a few other DARK cards

• a Sky Scourge deck with counter traps, Voltanis, dark Voltanis, Van'Dalgyon, more DARK fiends to allow for the utilization of Norleras.

1. Who told you that? When was the last time you saw Fairies being played? Plus, if you don't decrease the opponent's Life Points, how will you ever get the opponent down to 0 to win?

2. For costs, Prime Material Dragon will not let you gain Life. For effects like Psychokinesis and Brain Exploitation Research Lab that deal damage to you, you will gain Life. I don't think Prime Material Dragon is used in Psychic decks though.
