Ah' date=' but there is no trigonometry for things such as the vibrations of strings, the applied pressure to specific parts of the strings and it's effect on angels and tonality, and the like, any of those kinds of equations (the kind that make up mathemetical music theory) would require more parts of the guitar, namely the strings.

That is more than made up for with the point formulas

You have point caps

Star Multiplier Requirements

Full Combo Probability

And then you have to take into account strum rate, hammer-on ability, Star Power/Overdrive Paths, Few chords vs many single notes all while playing.

Wow, this is just sad, your arguement has devolved into saying the the point formulas involved in GH are the equal of the Trigonometric formulas present in real life music theory.

Also, you missed the point of my earlier statement. The point was that one plays music, the other controls a computer that plays pre-programmed music, one requires the mental capacity to create melodical excursions spontaneously in your head, the other merely requires the copying of a pre-determined sequence of button-pressing.

Both require ability with rhythm. Both are shaped like guitars

You still skew my words. I never said they are equal. I never even said the skills involved are comparable.

And what you are saying is any skill in anything involved with computers is not a reputable skill.

No' date=' I am saying that the playing of a few buttons in emulation of a greater skill is not reputable.

Thank you.

So you're saying following predetermined actions to get a desired effect is not reputable?

I still don't believe you are as good at GH as you say you are.
