you obviously don't remember how broken this card was

Past-tense. I dont see this card anywhere near the threat and brokeness it was back then.

Now, it's just a speed-beatstick.

It Special Summons itself from the hand by fulfilling a laughable Summon Condition, and then proceeds to either run over 2 monsters with 6000 ATK worth of attacks per Battle Phase or remove anything mildly problematic from play. Oh, and to top it all off, it has too much ATK for most things to run over, so it forces removal too.

Legalizing this would be an unspeakably foolish decision.

Crab has ben locking topics left to right.

That's because this forum is full of terrible topics. Five created cards topics, a card collection topic, three joke banlist topics, a discussion topic that duplicates another one on the front page, and four topics whose titles request that they be locked.

YCM-kun is having a bad day, apparently.

Despite being a LIGHT Atribute, I still think it's pure evil created by Satan in order to distort and control the minds of everyone, but failnami found that they could counteract this evil by banning it.

Now you all know why it must never see the light of day again... that, and it's broken as hell...

It's all what Crab said +

-The monster you remove. You get to take ANY monster regardless of ATK, Level, Type, Position, ANYTHING.

-Revoded from play means no Stardust intervention.

-But you can say that lots of cards can actually be stronger, name how many monsters can actually run over this one by card effects or battle?

Red Dragon Archfiend

D Hero Plasma

Injection Fairy Lily

Heraclinos

JD

Gyzaurus

Snipe Hunter

Monarchs (WIND, DARK, LIGHT, Thunder)

DAD

Black Rose Dragon

(commonly used ones, that's pretty much it I guess,[except Injection]. You might have a point if this really matters that much.)

hmmm... hard desition... hmmm....ummmm......ammmmm.........I guess......hummmmmm...... I'll go for.........ummmm.........stay banned.

The chaos cards were a nice idea' date=' but they were done horribly wrong.

How can Failnami make nice ideas without making them horribly broken anymore? (besides type specific cards)

What do you mean by "besides type specific cards"? If we extend "type" to account for any artificial grouping - actual Types, Attributes, Archetypes, monsters with over/under/exactly XXXX ATK/DEF, and so on - then we either get cards that either only work when used in combination with certain other cards (producing a de facto type restriction) or are splashables. And the problem with splashables is that any new splashable needs to be strong enough to be chosen for use over the currently available splashables and not too strong that it becomes broken - and even then, there is still a risk of 40goodcard.dek becoming the meta unless the various types can muster something stronger, putting us right back where we started.

By type specific, I mean cards like that new Fish type Pot of Greed.

And by nice ideas, I mean splashable in ANY deck...
