Exiro
Fill me in, do LS decks now use more than 42 cards? And why? I don't know anything about this, so teach me. Also, point me to some deck lists used in top 16s of big tourneys.
CrabHelmet
To what does the topic title's quotation refer? And how did they arrive at this over-42-cards advice? 43+ card decks are so rare and unwieldy that I cannot imagine how they could come up with general advice for such decks (the only one that comes to mind is Fifth Gadget, which is inferior to the smaller Seventh Gadget anyhow). I didn't quote him there, because it was pretty irrelevant to the topic. And I'm not saying this to 'trap bad players who think you should run 43+ cards in a LS deck', he actually had me thinking that it was being run now. It was also strange when everybody switched to no Mirror Force, or 41 card decks (and about the latter, I never understood that too, and the only reason I could think of was because they just needed the extra spot while it wasn't severe to the deck). Anyway, it seems that this isn't a known thing or something, so I'll get Nate over here.
iAmNateXero
most LS decks run an abundance of monster, some as high as 25, to run only 12-13 spells is un heard of in the builds ive seen. to compensate many builds do run 43 cards. ill try to find some examples. curtis however amazes me with his 26 monster, 40 card ls deck. There is no way to play with that deck and not cheat somehow. EDIT: ZEP Joker came in 6th with hi 43 card ls deck.

Guest PikaPerson01
Why the hell did you start quoting midsentence in? <_< Hell, why did you even bother quoting it at all? Why not just ask "I've heard some LS decks us more then 42 cards. That sounds silly. Is it true?"

Fixed. 60 cards in the maximum deck amount, not 80. 80 was never the maximum deck amount except in video games. If you are running lightsworn and you lose by deck out, get a different deck because you are seriously DOING IT WRONG, even you lose to a mill deck. Mill Decks are what you call "deck destruction decks". The name comes from a Magic card.
