I don't think this would help the forum. Usually when users request a store it becomes stupid and cluttered with junk the forum never needed. Setting the right amount of points can be difficult and will probably cause arguments. It takes a lot of time to ensure a store is regulated properly on a forum as active as this one.

 

Gambling is stupid, drop shadows and glows are ugly and quite often require work on the skin, music is really annoying and will waste bandwidth, and I don't care for complicated and difficult-to-read skins (ie. black background with bright coloured text) as many of you will probably suggest.

Perhaps a better use for points would be nice, as something incorporating a name change function that the mods don't have to manage would come in handy, but I don't think the gambling part is desirable for this site. I recall sometime last year YCMaker himself mentioned an arcade. I'll give this my support in the hope something happens.

200 points for gaining something between 0-200

2000 points for gaining -100 - 2500

Ah, I understand what you mean. That is indeed not what I was thinking. I personally find it repulsive, but I can see the benefit for other members, so there is no reason I would not full support it.

As far as I can tell, he is required to run most things by YCMaker. However, he does check them so it may be worth a shot.

 

I suggest not sending him an influx, as that may be counter-productive.

Myplazaturbo by Pirata Nervo would probably be the best way to do this, and it will work for some parts of this suggestion...

But I highly doubt YCMaker will think of installing such complicated plugins.
