You'll just screw EVERYTHING up and this takes place BEFORE Ratchet:Gladiator/Deadlocked "DreadZone began with two guys fighting over a breakfast burrito and slowly evolved into the illegal combat sport it is today!" Heroes from all over the galaxy have been kidnapped, and some of them were turning up dead. The captured heroes have been forced to compete on the leading Holo-Vision program in the criminal Shadow Sector of the Solana galaxy. DreadZone, the brainchild of the media magnate Gleeman Vox, was watched by trillions of sentient beings throughout the sector. It featured raw, uncensored gladiatorial combat to death, with the former hero Ace Hardlight as its uncontested and undefeated champion. Whether you like it or not, you are the newest contestant on DreadZone. [spoiler=Notes]Deadlock CollarsThe Deadlock Collars were collars that were strapped around the necks of DreadZone contestants to stop them from attempting to escape or to blow up contestants if they are boring. Dozens of superheroes were held prisoner in this very fashion, so DreadZone battles remained entertaining. Dread ChallangesDread Challenges are optional challenges in DreadZone. You could complete them to acquire more Dread Points and move onto new planets. Dread PointsDread Points are acquired by completing Dread Challenges at the DreadZone Station. DreadZone contestants' reputations are based on their Dread Point number count. With enough Points, contestants are able to advance to new planets or unlock new tournaments in the Battledome. ExterminatorsThe Exterminators is one of the longest running DreadZone teams, comprised of Shellshock, Reactor, the Eviscerator, and Ace Hardlight - their leader. Although the Exterminators are one of the most popular teams on DreadZone, Hardlight is commonly disliked by viewers. The team holds a record number of kills, being responsible for the death of many other DreadZone contestants, including Captain Starshield and The Omega Twins. BattledomeThe Battledome was the DreadZone Station's arena, where most of the battles on DreadZone took place.
