Akira
When Mind Control was first released' date=' it's effect was balanced yet there was little use for it. The game has evolved such that whilst the effect of Mind Control hasn't changed, game mechanics (mainly Syncing) and cards such as Cyber Valley render it practically as powerful as Change of Heart.[/quote'] I believe you just justified putting it at 0?If you did' date=' good job.If not, lolycm.[/quote'] IMO while I just pointed out why it's so decent in that post I believe that the restrictions on the card just about allow it to be fair at 1. Also if you "lolycm" me I'll break your nuts off. Have a nice day =)
The Dark One
B-Con banned' date=' M-Con to 1. B-Con is a skill-less top deck and M-Con's original restrictions aren't what they used to be in the era of tuners and Cyber Valley.[/quote'] Justify your decision to put Mind Control at one. I thought I did? When Mind Control was first released, it's effect was balanced yet there was little use for it. The game has evolved such that whilst the effect of Mind Control hasn't changed, game mechanics (mainly Syncing) and cards such as Cyber Valley render it practically as powerful as Change of Heart. You've proved that Mind Control is a more useful card now than it was at the time of its release, but you have yet to show why it's increased power A. makes it unacceptable at 3 and B. If that is proved, why is one the correct number as opposed to 2 or 0. A helpful hint: Try to consider how it harms the game at 3 in a way that it does not at 1, and how the game might be negatively impacted were it at 0 that can be avoided by keeping it at one. Akira
Best rebuttal ever: It's 2:40 AM here and my mind is in no fit state to debate matters over card games. Good night.

Goodnight to you too, sir. Though your rebuttal is still rather weak, a claim of tiredness is much better than most excuses people seem to come up with on YCM. CrabHelmet
Is there even a card that would do that for you? Apprentice Magician or Spear Cretin could do it.
Tickle Me Emo
Im gonna get flamed by Crab, I know that now, but why is BCon so much worse than Mind Control. BCon is more situational, however you can attack with the monster. MCon can target anything, including those damned facedowns, however cant attack. Is the option to attack just that much more signifigant?

tonisanoob
if we are goign on this illusive perfect meta crab is always going on about mind control if fine at 3, as all problems that are involved with it woul dbe banned, dsf, rescue cat ect so a +1 draw combo with cybervalley that wastes a normal summon isnt exactly metabreaking is it
