And no, it's not because it's so powerful, it's because we humans abuse the power. Basically, if a country fires a rocket at another country (eg. USA to Russia), then the whole world would fire one to USA saying 'STOP IT YOU MORON'. Really, nukes are just for self defense, so you can't really use it.
