Here's the card

MetamorphosisCP01-EN-SR-UE.jpg

Here's the reasons why in a list of all the potentially problematic fusion monster with this card legal.

5

Dark Balter the Terrible

Reaper on the Nightmare

6

Dark Flare Knight

Dark Blade the Dragon Knight

Ojama King

Ryu Senshi

7

Cyber Blader

Cyber Ogre 2

King Dragun

The Last Warrior from Another Planet

8

Cyber Twin Dragon

Gatling Dragon

Meteor Black Dragon

Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill

Superalloy Beast Raptinus

10

Cyber End Dragon

Destiny End Dragoon

And here's some more ideas to break this card :

They are all easy to summon just think of cards like blackwing - sirroco the dawn, big piece golem, cyber dragon, vice dragon, destiny hero malicious+dasher, monarchs, fusillier dragon the dual mode beast, gorz the emissary of darkness, beast king barbaros, sacred phoenix of nephthys, dark nephthys, the dark creator, lonefire blossom into gigaplant/tytannial, metal reflect slime, red-eyes darkness metal dragon, tragoedia...

Anyway discuss the card.

Oh no' date=' a card that lets the opponent turn their Vice Dragon into Dark Baltar the Terrible [i']or[/i] Reaper on the Nightmare, and they get to choose which! Toolboxing these Fusion Monsters is horribly broken, and we should all go back to toolboxing Synchro Monsters instead.

Well that's not the biggest threat. There are moves like tytannial into raptinus to activate every gigaplant for easy OTK not to speak it might make gigaplant FTK playable again. And stuff like malicious into ryu senshi are not to be taken lightly. Metal reflect slime into destiny end dragoon is pretty sick too.

I was also thinking of putting this in hopeless dragon to give them an easy access to king dragun.

I was also thinking of putting this in hopeless dragon to give them an easy access to king dragun.

1: They already have Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, who is infinitely better.

2: Why is Hopeless Dragon having access to King Dragun at the cost of a -1 a problem?

I was thinking of using it with REDMD. Just think of this REDMD revives a lv 7 dragon morph into king dragun sp summon a big dragon from your hand like dark horus and OTK, or sp summon another REDMD revive the lv 7 dragon and overkill.

If Gigaplant FTK is a problem' date=' then the source of the problem is definitely not one of several cards that it has the option of using as part of its setup.[/quote']

Well the choices are gigaplant, lonefire blossom, tytannial, mass driver (or anything similar), metamorphosis, raptinus. It would be easier to keep morph banned since gemini are already weak enough like this imagine losing raptinus and plant is a good deck with hardly anything damaging for the game in the moment. And gigaplant FTK doesn't work with the cards we have now.

I'd love to hear where all these extra Special Summons from the hand are coming from. The second example is especially hilarious, since 2 REDMD + random decent-sized Dragon is already OTK damage without Metamorphosis; the obvious implication of such a play being a problem is that REDMD is the card that damages the game (which, while not a standard argument in 3/0, is one that can certainly be made).

3 Future Fusion + 3 Dragon's Mirror makes Raptinus easy enough to Summon with or without Metamorphosis, and playing with the legality of Metamorphosis just to slightly alter the probability of pulling off this one specific OTK is simply ludicrous.

Assuming that the FTK were to become a threat, the choices would really just be Gigaplant, Raptinus, and the Mass Driver family.

Should be unlimited, with all the Fusion monster threats all banned. Using this card can do as much damage as lets say, Syncho Summoning Goyo Guardian or Brionac. Plus, it allows variety in the game. A Metamorphosis Toolbox would be awesome

Crab if you don't stop I'll run out of beer.

I think my liver just died in this topic alone.

My liver died a loooooong time ago.

Because of me probably..... xD

Instant Fusion?

Instant Fusion is better for Synchro Summons.

It can still be used that way...
