taker8058 Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 You must show your opponent the monster you Special Summon. but this defeats the purpose of special summoning it face down your opponent knows what it is so the chance of suprise is 0 i think you should only have to prove that it is lvl 2 or lower and a spellcaster while somehow leaving the card name and effect secret. From this, I can say that I placed a face-down "Old Vindictive Magician" while I actually placed "Dark Armed Dragon" face-down. There is no way to prove the card without showing the effect or the card itself. And anyways, if you're running "Apprentice Magician", you're opponent will possibly know what card you placed anyways, since there are only a few good targets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
