Mysty
[*]RULE 12 (VENOM SWAMP + COUNTERS) - Monsters lose 500 ATK for each Venom Counter on them. Destroy a monster if its ATK is reduced to 0 or below by this effect. "Venom" monsters' date=' "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes", and "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" cannot have Venom Counters placed on them. "Venom Swamps" effect reads: "During each player's End Phase, place 1 Venom Counter on each face-up monster, except "Venom" monsters." venom monsters already cant have counters lolvenominon's effect already said its unafectedvenominaga's effect is its unaffected by anything soooI dont get rule 12[/quote'] He's basically letting Venom Counters have an effect while no other counter does. Each counter says: This counter cannot be placed on a "Venom" monster, "Vennominon", or "Vennominaga". The monster this counter is placed on loses 500 ATK points. Destroy the monster if its ATK becomes 0 by this effect. The counters work even while Venom Swamp isn't in play.

k23time
The counters work even while Venom Swamp isn't in play.... bad rules then A-Counters have natural effects. Why can't Venom Counters?EDIT: Ok' date=' so my brother just informed me that A-Counters only work when an Alien monster that states what it does is on the field. I didn't know that, sorry. That really doesn't make any sense though.. I know, I'm trying to apply physics to a stupid card game, and we all know what happens when someone does that.... [i']With my Catapult Turtle I can launch my Dragon Champion toward your castle thereby shattering its floatation ring and causing it to collapse on top of your monsters.[/i] Lol.. But when a venomous snake bites something, it get hurts even when they're not in a swamp..

Not only do A-Counters only work when a card that mentions the draining effect is on the field, but the effects stack, so if you control 3 Alien Warriors, monsters that battle Aliens will lose 900 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter on them. I like to think of it that some Aliens and Cosmic Horrors cause the A-Cells to suck out the victim's life. Every Special Alien in the battlefield activates the Cells, causing the huge ATK and DEF loss. I also figure they have an alternate "Mind Control" mode that allows for the abduction of minds. As for the Castle Catapult gambit, that only happened in Duelist Kingdom because they had different rules. As for the Venom situation, maybe the venom only gets its weakening power when the victim breathes in the noxious Venom Swamp gases.

SUPERYUGI!GO!!
I dont like tributing a monster making you gain DOUBLE it's level... I think exactly its level would be fine since you already get 4 levels a turn. (BTW, you mentioned something about dice... so the max levels you can have is 12? That would make sense come to think of it since the highest possible level is 12 tho)

When you tribute a monster, you gain 2 level points, not double. Yes, 12 is the max amount of level points you can have. I only mentioned dice because I use 2 6-sided dice to keep track of my level points, it's easiest that way.the summon level thing is broken' date=' since a level 7 or above would be summonable for effectively 1 less summon than it normally is, since you have to summon the two monsters, THEN it. thats 3 summons, and doing that normal summon means three turns, but in your way, I get it in two. thats a big problem[/quote'] Hm.. You do make an interesting point. How about this: Instead of level points, maybe Tribute Saves. If you don't normal summon or set during your turn, then you gain 1 Tribute Save (max 2). When you wish to Tribute Summon or set a monster then you may use Tribute Saves in place of the tributes. Would that be better? The reason I like Level Points is because it gives you rewards for summoning lower level monsters (you get to keep any left over points). Maybe to fix this, I should make it to where if you don't normal summon or set during the turn you lose 4 level points.
