I liked Disney's version (that's was back when they were good), but I like dark movies better and this looks dark. Also, isn't Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter? Transformers 2 has had a 50/50 reputation. A lot of people thought it was great. You can compare it that way but don't expect everyone else to do the same thing.
