Asuka splashed to get Jared's attention

Jared said, "Oh, sorry Asuka. I've been in a daze."

 

He collapsed over.

Klaus looked at the woman. "I recognize this from somewhere."

 

Klaus stabbed through the woman. "It's a trap."

 

He pulled out his sword and it was covered in green sap material. "She's not any form of monster. She's part of the plant. Like a angler fish's light."

Asuka stopped and went over to him

[Leon Lonewolf]

"I had a feeling. Let's keep going." Leon runs ahead, sheathing his sword.

[Felix Culpa]

Byron was sitting in the mess hall. "Where is everybody?"

 

The plant wrapped tendril after tendril around Leon, pulling him into a mouth-like opening.

 

"It's a Draco's Man-eater," Klaus said, jumping in the mouth. "I know about these."

[Leon Lonewolf]

Leon smiles. "Yea. same here. Get back." Leon said. he chants a Firagun spell and the Man-eater screams in pain as it burns, releasing Leon.

[Felix Culpa]

The plant shakes, putting out the flame. "Obviously not a lot. Draco Man-Eaters aren't harmed by fire."

 

Klaus jumped toward the mouth, allowing the plant to eat it. A sword stabbed through the top, squirting digestive juices out. He moved his sword around until the plant's top was gone.

"JARED" .Britney leans over to Jared. "You okk"

[Leon Lonewolf]

Leon shrugged, "That was my second choice."

[Felix Culpa]

Jared's eyes were glazed and his eyelids heavy. "Britney?"

"Yeah Jared"

[Felix Culpa]

"Ehm, veter," Jared mumbled.

[Leon Lonewolf]

"That better be light ahead," Leon said as he and Klaus continue escaping.

Jared was going in and out between conciousness. Klaus walked forward. "This isn't outside. It's a large cliff. Another underwater river."

[Leon Lonewolf]

"Oh, fun. The perfect place to catch up to us. How much time do we have left, anyway?"

[Felix Culpa]

"I don't know. Jump?" Klaus asked.

[Leon Lonewolf]

"Good idea." Leon dived off the cliff in a perfect 5221D Why the hell did I do that? he thought

Asuka begant to wonder what Jared had said as he looked at Britney and back at Jared

[Felix Culpa]

"Asuka, veter," Jared mumbled again.

 

A large ripple went up the river like someone jumped in. Jared moved his arm, scooping some water and drinking it. He then hit Asuka on the head. "Water."

 

Jared ran forward and saw Klaus and Leon in the water. "We were swimming in a large circle... How do we get out?"

[Leon Lonewolf]

Leon surfaces. he looks up. "If only we could fly out. wait a minute. I could've just teleported out of here."

[Felix Culpa]

"I doubt it," Klaus said. "Or else I would've done it already. The ground is reinforced with the same stuff as the Torture Room in Diabolus."

 

"So the ocean..." Jared said.

[Leon Lonewolf]

"And I see no opening to fly out of here..."

[Felix Culpa]

"The ocean is the only way out," Jared told Leon.

[Leon Lonewolf]

"yea, I know that. Thank God I'm a 5-time Youth World Swimming Champion." Leon takes a breath and dives under.

God that guy can talk about himself forever, Klaus thought to himself.

 

Klaus was walking on the side of the river with Jared behind him, Britney and Asuka supporting him.
