Marcus attacked Asuka with a concentrated flash of energy destroying a vast amount of life around them. Jared and Byron absorbed it, trying to get enough strength.

 

"Okay, Byron," Jared said, "You attack from the left, if you do this right..."

Asuka flew back and landed on a rock injuring him he wanted to fight but he could barely get up

Byron sent a flash of energy at Marcus, throwing him toward Jared, who sent a field of energy into Marcus, blocking energy from being released.
