kidchaor
i have been thinking of a possible way to construct an anti-lightsworn deck by using their own weakness against them. by either stall the lightsworns from attacking only to have the player ditch cards from their deck away, and/or burn their life points for sending cards away. EX: paralyzing chain and coffin seller. the star player in the lightsworn team is judgement dragon, that card can be trouble. but mabye by using skill drain it might increase the chance of victory which would prevent it from using its ability to destroy everything. tell me what you think would be a effective strategy to defeating lightsworns.(instead of surrendering nor saying build a better deck because those wont work in a strategy nor helping strategise.) AlucardTheOld
also use card destructon it burns more of their cards also you an use Dimensional Fissure to remove cards from play with all of those cards there mill deck will cause them to deck out
kidchaor
thatis a great idea. not only do you destroy their monster reincarnation strategy but you also speed up their milling process until they are decked out and they automataclly lose. kidchaor
that i a great idea when you merge that, burnspy and rudger's idea. using threatining roar to prevent being attacked, card destruction and morphing jar to dump cards away to get anew, and needle worm to further damage your opponents LS dec. mix those with dimension fissure to further hurt LS and win. burnpsy
Skill Drain will stop most good attempts at stopping LS, such as PSA's idea above (So don't use it. :P Use LIM.). Also, Paralyzing Chain, due to wording, will only deal 300 per set of cards sent, so Lumina's effect will cost them 300, not 900. >.> Don't use that either. Crow™
Yes, it is possible to beat a LS deck, I've done it so many times. You realize the poll makes you look like a complete idiot, right?Anyway, just OTK them before they get JD out, or just side Brain Golem and Light Imprisoning Mirror. @TC: You can just use you magic Yugi/Psychic powers to make your opponent see the heart of the cards and pull a "mind crush" on them. Pfft! You don't need that, just call honest when they attack your stronger monster. Plus, they play so many beckoning light/monster reincarnation and even herald of creation sometimes. Lazer Yoshi
You can always use cards that remove from play, since most Lightsworns gain their effects from being sent to the Graveyard.

Toffee.
Just use psychic types. Some jerk on this board was raving about how much better Psychic types were compared to Lightsworn. Icwutudidthar I voted "no" for the lulz. And I find it funny how TC thinks you can make a perfect anti- to a Lightsworn deck.Coffin Seller and Paralyzing Chain only do like 300 damage. And about 80% of the time, would prove to be dead draws.

BulletMan
To beat a Lightsworn Deck: First, attack one of their weak LIGHT monsters. Let them activate Honest (hopefully, a Ghost Rare). When they reveal it, quickly pull out a mirror and their super bright Honest will reflect back into their eyes! Turning them into stone. When the judge comes over, tell them something from the Twilight Zone happened. Then he will declare you the winner, due to the opponent no longer capable of playing in his frozen state.[/topic] :)
