Does anyone know who is in that sixth coffin that Kabuto summons?

No one knows for sure' date=' but people assume it's either the [b']Sage of the Six Paths, Izuna, or Madara's real body.[/b]

 

There's NO WAY Sage of the 6 Paths is in the 6th coffin. Kuchiyose Edo Tensei require the person BLOOD to bind it in the Edo Tensei's corpse. Sage almost die looong time ago that almost make it a MYTH (Jiraiya said that when he saw Nagato massacre Rock Chunnin with Rin'negan). There are definitely no more trace of Sage body.

 

The only possible is Madara's real body or the 4th Hokage. It will be kool if Naruto face his own dad! :mrgreen:

The Wikia says nothing about needing the blood of the original person. Just a sacrifice to contain the soul of the revived person.

 

It is possible that it's wrong, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

 

Its need blood of an actual person. The sacrificial body is used only to contain or keep the spirit or soul of the revived person. Every Summoning technique needs blood, and Kuchiyose Edo Tensei (KED for short) needs for the specific person's blood that makes it an ultimate Jutsu (and Forbidden also). If KED doesn't use an actual blood, then this Jutsu can be perform easily by any shinobi (no blood, just use any corpses).

 

Given the fact that Orochimaru is a bit of "scientist" and Kabuto is a spy. Maybe during that time Orochimaru order Kabuto to dug the previous Kages grave and steal their bloods (maybe).

 

Yeah because no village would notice their kage's grave dug up. >.<

 

Heh! The Hidden Village is not impenetrable or invincible in the terms of security. Kabuto have been 6 YEARS act as Orochimaru spy and no Jounin or ANBU suspect him. Orochimaru kidnapped MANY Genin, Chuunin, Jounin, and some ANBU as his experiments or Guinea Pigs (including Captain Yamato) and NO ONE seem notice who this kidnapper is until 3rd Hokage personally track him down. And how about Akatsuki member (Kisame, Itachi and Pain) that can easily infiltrated Hidden Leaf Village security.

 

In short: In time of peace, Hidden Villages seem relaxed and therefore "loosen up" their village security. And yes, Leaf security team is SUCKs. If no one believe me how EASY some Level S criminal steal a Kage's body, PLEASE check: Naruto Chapter 291 Page 16.

 

Then how come Danzo got away with it by integrating the First Hokage's face onto his arm and Orochimaru could still summon the First?

 

I agree with your opinion but that is not the ACTUAL face of 1st Hokage. It's just a crazy experiment that Orochimaru did on Danzo using 1st Hokage's Genome or DNA (like Cloning).

That's assuming that they weren't embalmed or something like that. Not to mention that the 2nd Hokage died in combat, meaning he probably didn't have much blood in him when they buried him. I don't even know if they even went back to retrieve his body....

That's assuming that they weren't embalmed or something like that. Not to mention that the 2nd Hokage died in combat, meaning he probably didn't have much blood in him when they buried him. I don't even know if they even went back to retrieve his body....

Hokage's body become a Mummy? Not likely. The Leaf just use simple burial process i believe, no incinerating to ashes or mummification process. About 2nd Hokage i don't know myself if his body is found or not (maybe they found in pieces and must "glue" together all the pieces with some Jutsu).

 

All Jutsu is confusing my friend. :)

 

@Merciful: What if Edo Tensei used the actual person DNA or Genome? Because a Level S Jutsu just using a simple Living Sacrifices is definitely a spammable Jutsu.

But indeed. All jutsu is confusing. Although I don't think Edo Tensei would be that 'spammable'. It takes a considerable amount of skill apparently, I would image the hardest part of it is applying the seal that breaks the free will of the person. There must be some reason why only 3 people could use it. Which make it even more confusing... I hope they explain it in future releases.

You mean like, a complex ninjutsu is perform to the Hokage's body in order to preserve the body conditions? I never thought that. There is a possibility in your theory, but if that were true, maybe only upper class Ninja is able to get the mummy-jutsu treatment. Below Hokage-level ninja is buried commonly i think.

 

Applying the seal that breaks the free will of the person in Edo Tensei is not so hard. You just have to put the a fuda (charm/tag) into the head of the body. The biggest problem imo would be the Chakra, because using any Summoning Jutsu required a considerable amount of Chakra. And in my theory it required the actual person's blood or DNA, and just obtaining the specific blood or DNA it very hard imo, even for an ANBU. The last problem is the Living Sacrifices, do you need a specific body (female or male, blood type A or AB, Wind Chakra or Lightning Chakra, etc) or just any body you can find?

 

@Death Metal: You mention there are 3 people that can use Edo Tensei. Orochimaru, Kabuto and who?

Seeing as he's the oldest, it is most likely.

 

And did it ever hit you that the technique might cost a lot of chakra, BEYOND the Ordinary Ninja Chakra Levels?

It's kinda bugging me if the 2nd created Edo Tensei. Even if it meant for war, that Jutsu is in unethical imo. Fuin Jutsu (Summoning the God of Death) is also unethical because the user is summoned the "Gods" to do their bidding.

 

And is it true the 4th created Fuin Jutsu? If true, then the Leaf Shinobi is the kind of Shinobi that will do anything to win the war. Even though it will lead them to created Forbidden Jutsu.

Well, the first person ever use that Jutsu is the 4th Hokage when he sealed 9 Tails and the second person would be the 3rd when he sealed Orochimaru arms.

 

Maybe the Sage of the 6 Paths created it and sealed the Jutsu in someplace, and somehow the 4th is able to find it. Maybe...

Maybe the Leaf would have done anything to attain peace' date=' even if it meant sacrifice. This is obviously because of [b']the influence of the Feudal Lord[/b] of that era.

 

You're correct. A Shinobi is a only a "tools" and can be used for good or bad by the Feudal Lord or Daimyo. It is possible that the Fire Nation's Lord force the Leaf Hokages to create a Forbidden Jutsu in order to win the war.
