Yes the main problem was Kaguya. Madara saved the arc, Mighty Guy accelerated it, and after he went 8th gate, Naruto/Sasuke vs Madara hype was at an all-time high.  Then Kaguya came and it just fell apart.

There wasn't enough in Kaguyu to make it good. I felt Obito should have been the one to kill Madara. Madara killed Rin effectively it just felt odd that that tension was not addressed, Tho the Kaguya arc made it possible for Madara to come off as a not so bad person. What would have been cool would have been Madara to be dying after his fight, and Black Zetsu to possess it and give rise to Kaguya, she needed more foreplay (yes lolz) to be an effective villain. Also more people needed to die.

Naruto loves, Sakura, not Hinata, him dying would make Sasusake that much better

Ok fair enough, but atleast make the final convo between him and Madara a bit more than 3 pages

No, there is a scene in the ice world when there is a man watching Sasuke and Naruto fight Kaguya

No, I liked him as a final bad. I mean after he saves Naruto Sasuke and Kakashi, he should have stayed dead, and given his eyes to Kakashi in a different manner

He had a crush on her. And over time that became more and more of a backround thing. Her love for Sasuke however has been pretty constant through out.

I don't remember this.

I don't see how he could have. Again, it was a weird scene, but meh.

I've heard people theorize that she came in because they would have needed to go to insane lengths to stop Madara vs. just touch her to beat Kaguya even though she was stronger. They also say that pulling out all the stops vs. Madara would have limited the appeal of the true ending battle, Naruto vs. Sasuke. Its a theory and I can see the logic they are working under at least. Might not have gotten across that well though.

Also note he had plenty of times, either be a bad ass and Kamuii his eyes into Kakashi or pull a shisui and remove them and give it to him.

I love Sasusake, I just dislike NaruHina, less for the fact I want Narusake, but more for the fact it's not really been grown, and Hinata is a crusty jabroni.

Thats a things. Might just be part of the rock. Obviously wasn't something Kishi was planning on exploring.

Not really. He had a minute or two max. Not only that but his whole body was falling apart, including his eyes, don't think that would save them. Lastly they were able to transplant them because Rin was there and Karashi had lost his eye already. He had two working eyes at that point. Don't think Sakura was in any shape to transplant it. Though if you work under the Madara just plucking eyes out of people, who knows.

So much to read.... damn you know what? I'll skip the last page (I've been reading for a while) in order to finally post xD

The actual ending (699) was good IMO. Little details could have made it better, like having Naruto go to Hinata as said above for example. Mostly I would have given Kishi more time (and I mean like a month worth of time. It is better to make sure the end result is as good as it can get for something that was as big as this manga.

700 is extremely rushed. I understand that the big bad is supposed to be the "going out with a bang" kind of thing. They wouldn't be able to fill up a full volume of "after it happened" I suppose, but I personally wouldn't mind it if it meant more characters and more events were shown. They skipped the whole transition for everyone's relationships, and I wanted to see it. I'm not a huge hardcore fan of this series so I have to look up on wikia some of the names you people are saying when you mention X and Y's son/daughter. I would have liked seeing a bit more of the kids with their parents just to make it a bit more clear. They didn't show anything related to Orochimaru, didn't he stay alive because of the body change, and if he changed his ways it means his life is now very limited and he'd be an old man? What of Kakashi as a Hokage and how did Tsunade decide to quit? I was always under the impression that if the series were to ever have a generation shift, the character I thought would have been the next main could have likely been Konohamaru since he did share a little bit with Naruto and had some screentime that could have been build up throughout the series..... IDK...
Oh and I'm not sure if they showed Ramen shop owner, or iirc he had a daughter that appeared in that episode of "we wanna see Kakashi's face".

And those are just Konoha characters and not even counting the whereabouts and life of the tailed beasts. The number could probably even be doubled.

P.D: and what's Sasuke doing? I don't think that "feeling" he got was a casual "good bye" scene but a prelude of something, or at least it felt like that more than like a scene fitting of an ending. What about Sasuke's team of criminals as well while we are at it?...

Apparently Sakura and Sasuke's kid's name is the Spanish word for salt.

f***ing perfect.

To be more precise:
Salada = Salty (apply only to females, unless it was "Salado").

Salt = Sal

Salad = Ensalada

*sits and waits for name comfirmation*

I can understand much of that might be explored in that mini-series to come depending on how big/long it gets.

Though still, without taking "expansion packs" like that into consideration, I think it could have wrapped up better. I expected a chapter at least twice as long as usual, even if it still wouldn't have been quite enough.

As for the shipping, the people that are annoyed at the NaruxHina pair, I can understand because I feel they lacked more interaction, and I mean throughout the series. This huge war just made the situations impossible to squeeze, and between giving Sakura a chance to not just be incredibly outclassed and nearly unbearable with her feelings for Sasuke, and giving Hina a chance to shine, Kishi probably tossed a coin there, then remembered Sakura was supposed to be the third main character and just went with that.

Personally I still prefer Hinata over Sakura. Sakura's development that might have served to see more and more of Naruto's good points and Sasuke's "funk you" attitude, also kinda served for Naruto to begin a detachment from her, lowering her from the pedestal he had her at in his heart. Or at least that's the way I see it considering certain events like when she poisoned her own team to go beg Sasuke to take her, or lied to Naruto saying she loved him so he would stop his journey.....

I heard some comments in other sites about Naruto's "ninja way" going out the window because he "gave up on Sakura". That argument makes my ears bleed. Naruto did everything he could for years, and in the end if Sakura didn't want him well... he wasn't to just tie her up and force her, right? Besides, Naruto couldn't even criticize her because they both had an unreasonably big obsession towards the same person (in a different way of course), and he's not the type of person to tell her to give up, or he'd be recognizing that he can give up as well....

If well Hina wasn't well developed, and didn't have a chance to interact much, IDK, I just liked that when she did confess it was at least genuine.

Then again, ALL couples lacked development, to be honest.....

Sasusake seems well developed. Shikamaru Temari seem well developed. Naruto has never been interested or distasteful of Hinata. In Sasusake one person hated the other and one loved the other, the contrast led to development. All Hinata did was get stopped by Pain, get stomped by Obito, and now get knocked up by naruto. funk Hinata, I'm praying the premise of P3 is she gets assassinated for some scheme to get the eyes

I got to disagree with you on one point, NaruHina had much more development than ShikaTema.

Like, by a longshot.

Wait a minute guys, WHAT HAPPENED TO YAMATO

Dude he was freed man, no more being a Tobi puppet and sh*t.

I mean, that's not really development, that's more of a...chemistry thing I guess?

Guys, I remembered Nai's post and went to Narusaku.com to check it out.

Can't access the forums without making an account.

Poor NaruSaku fans it really is sad though but that's the final decision the author made nothing cannot be change now.

Maybe Hinata's crusty ass will be brutally murdered and her eyes will be stolen leaving her broken corpse to rot in P3? I pray that Kishimoto will avenge this insult. Naruto deserved better than a busty stalking jabroni who has no other redeeming qualities. I'm not saying it should be Sakura tho. Sasusake is the correct pairing. In my world Naruto would have either died or found someone who actually is worth a damn

Like, by a longshot.

The only thing that the ShikaTema ship had going for it was that they were often depicted together. Which is more than you can say for NaruHina since they had all of 2 scenes. Though, as you said, those two scenes were WAY more important.

Anyway, Winter, enough. We get it, you don't like Naruhina. Your tirades are getting tiresome and aren't adding anything to this discussion anymore. Yes, more certainly could have been done with it (hell I event brought up a small touch for 699 that would have done wonders for it) but the simple fact is the SasuSaku is a much strong ship since unlike Naruto's crush on Sakura that was kind of a back round thing for most of the series, that has been a central part of the series from day 1. And, no, this isn't a series where the lead is going to die. Anyway we know the movie is going to explore their relationship, so at the very least cool down until that comes out. Or at the very least stop saying you want this fictional character dead. So yea, end it, now.

Brah I'm the biggest fan of Sasusaku as you can find, I would be similarly upset if Naruto had a forced marriage to Sakura, there is simply no good girl for him atm, Sakura is the closest one to Kushina as you can find, but that's about it. I just had 15 years go down the drain, I have a reason to be pissed off

If Naruto having kids with Hinata ruins Naruto for you, I honestly don't know what I can tell you. The romance in the series was FAR on the back burner, so I can get being upseat, but I can not understand this extreme a reaction.

But again, Last Movie will likely delve into their relationship, so lets shelve this conversation for now, ok?
