I concur. I do wish it were longer, but at least this battle's shaping up to be something short and sweet.

Ino's description reads, "She became an alluring beauty! ...With her spicy expression, her sexiness is multiplied! Her hair that was a ponytail is now let down."

Kiba's design reads, "He transformed into a wild man! Kiba had the most changes out of anyone, with his clothes, hairstyle, and his beard on his chin."

Shino's design has the text, "He now has a cool and sharp impression! It might be because of his collar that used to stand up, but the lines on his face are now easy to see.

She looks good, though her outfit doesn't seem too practical.

Kiba actually looks cool. And Shino doesn't look half-bad either.

Judging by Shino's outfit, I wonder if he's part of the Interrogation Forces. Would be nice if Ino was part of it too.

 

As for the new chapter, it's getting redundant seeing someone powered by the Tailed Beasts, especially an Uchiha, but at least the new Susano'o looks cool. I especially love that Naruto transformed Kurama to resemble Asura's battle avatar.

It's hard to believe Sasuke got this strong though. Did Rinnegan give him that big of a boost in power?

Probably. However, it's a mix of him using the Rinnegan and the EMS. I don't think the power boost he gained from the Bijuu is anywhere near what Madara, or even Obito got. He's using them as a battery rather than absorbing them outright. The amount of power he's getting is more because of the fact that it's Susano'o that's serving as the host, rather than something like Gedo Mazo.

So

I found it funny the Valley statues seem to have lost their heads in that crazy clash.

And honestly, that taijutsu exchange was great. I know I don't talk about art that often, but I felt Kishi really made an impact with that exchange of heavy blow after blow between the two of them. I could feel the brutality, and that's something I haven't felt much outside of Lee or Guy's fights.

I think Naruto's eyes were in the midst of going Sage Mode at the end there and that's how he'll win.

I love how this battle went from the epic scale, and is now smaller, more up close. With Sakura awake, hopefully she and Kakashi will help save the day somehow. I actually didn't notice that Hashirama and Madara's heads were missing. Not sure how, though. I guess I just really liked seeing where the fight was going. Really, this battle is just hitting the right beats for me. We've only got two more chapters left, though. Let's see how Kishimoto finishes this.

 

Hinata's outfit is pretty great! Never really settled on NaruHina vs. NaruSaku, but I'm okay Naruto ending up with Hinata.

I'm happy they went to fisticuffs for the final battle. All the super powery nonsense is cool and all, but a simpler fight is nice to end the series one.

Also, that fight basically took like 12 hours. Thats kind of nuts.

It would be weird a little weird for him to end up with Sakura at this point, but he's had all of two scenes (though they were big ones) with Hinata so their relationship was never really developed outside of she likes him.

I'm pretty sure next chapter will end in Naruto's win (or maybe even a draw :/) and some talk-no-jutsu to beat some sense into Sasuke, then 699 will be the epilogue chapter.

Also, I want to make a prediction about Naruto's Hokage coronation.

Kishi will draw everyone who died in the series as spirits watching Naruto become Hokage, everyone from Zabuza to his parents, Nagato and Obito, the Kages, etc.

I mean, this is a Shonen series. 

Goku and Chi-Chi never had much screentime, although on the flipside you could argue Fairy Tail does a decent job in setting up its ships.

I guess it's subjective. I'm personally fine with it and psyched to see what happens. I wouldn't hate it if NaruSaku happened somehow, but I think it'd be better to do NaruHina.

Should be good.
