[spoiler=Thoughts]Feels like, for as long as the early parts of the Kaguya battle went, them getting the upper hand was a bit too fast. Not necessarily anticlimactic, but at the same time, it didn't feel… definitive, I guess would be the word. However, it was very satisfying to see Naruto through Black Zetsu into the Chibaku Tensei.

I am glad that Madara is back, though. Not sure what he'll do, or even what he can do, but Kaguya's appearance did make his "defeat" anticlimactic, assuming you can even call it a defeat, so hopefully there's something more satisfying here.

I am not too happy with that at all. I know they've been fighting her for about a hundred chapters now, but that seemed pretty fast to me. Lol. I forgot who said it would end at chapter 700, but it seems like it will. Only because this chapter seemed so fast paced to me. I feel like Kishi had a deadline and rushed this. Whelp... The fighting is definitely done for now, let's just hope next chapter isn't too cliche.

Hi, that was me. Yea, I was pretty sure last week marked the end of the battle and I was right. The end worked, but for the final boss, went down too fast. Going to be interesting seeing where things go from here.

[spoiler=Hmmmgggghhhh...]

So. So, so, so, what should I say? All the buildup with Uchiha Madara was thrown away for the creator of chakra Kaguya, whose only buildup appeared about a dozen or so chapters before she showed up. Obviously, she is the final boss. She has all the makings and all the power of one, being A God Am I and all. Surely, even though her appearaance was a little sudden, she'll get this really cool backstory, have awesome development, and definitely top Madara!

...But eh.

We didn't get to know anything about her motivations.

We didn't get to know anything about her past.

We didn't get to know who 'Kaguya' was outside of battling her sons to the death and eating forbidden fruit.

And her defeat? It was only one panel. You'd think that it would take up at least a few pages since this is Naruto we're talking about and she's the final boss - but nooo, after a not-really-so-epic comeback by Naruto and co (not even a rousing post-victory speech about the future of shinobi from now on or something? Really?), she gets sealed away into Chibaku Tensei in one single panel, the war's over after just a few pages in, and that felt totally unsatisfying.

I hate to say this but that was, simply put, highly anticlimactic. And disappointing. Why did I ever get my hopes up for Kaguya getting something vaguely resembling development?

Didn't really feel anything for Black Zetsu the way he was just tossed away like that. Would've preferred it if Naruto just tore him apart on the spot or something, but oh well.

Welp, I dunno about you guys, but here's hoping that the next few chapters make up for this one~

What's curious to me is that something tells me that this isn't the end. Just because Kaguya and Black Zetsu were sealed away again doesn't encourage me that she won't just come back in another few centuries. That's why I don't think it was definitive enough. I'm also curious as to why Kaguya would spit out Madara in the first place. That's got to mean something, right? I just hope that it doesn't mean that Madara had to be brought back so he could have some redemption.

Swear Gaara vs Naruto in the first Naruto Series was more of 100x the struggle of the creator of chakra.

Also anyone know if Naruto vs Sasuke is actually going to happen? It's the only reason I've actualy still been reading this.

I think they'll have a fight in the The Last Naruto Movie where there's another timeskip.

Kishi is penning it and all, so it is canon. And with a movie's budget, the fighting should be slick.

I hope.

So uh, yeah, that was pretty anticlimactic. But I'm with Roxas, it doesn't feel like the end just yet.

If it is, well, that's disappointing. I actually reread the chapters from Naruto/Sasuke vs Madara up until now and there actually is some good action that comes together when you read chapters in a row, but it definitely ends on a meh note, with Kaguya at least.

think Madara's going to do something. I think.

We'll see what happens, I guess.

One thing I am looking forward to is seeing what the aftermath's gonna entail, either way.

I never actually thought it was a choice to spit him out. I figured since she was the target, she'd be the only sealed. Getting rid of anything extra or something. Lol.

Although Madara is out I can see him being dead or completely out of commission. If he's alive next chapter will definitely be a sit down Talk no Jutsu kind of chapter.

Hers the thing, she was able to come back because Black Zetsu was leading the people too it. So not only is he gone, the strife that helped bring everything about has also been dealt with to a large degree.

Not sure why Madara is back. Honestly, that only makes things more complicated, but he is basically defeated, so yea......I don't see much being left.

@Flame Dragon: I get it, Black Zetsu is gone, but given how Black Zetsu went unnoticed for all these years, what's to stop something like Black Zetsu from showing up again?

@Fusion: Wouldn't have thought of Choji as looking like Asuma, but since you pointed that out, that makes me so happy. Happy with Gaara and Temari's designs as well. Don't have much investment in Team Gai, but Tenten's ponytail looks nice, and Lee has the same flack jacket that Shikamaru is. I'm guessing those become the standard after the movie. However, Naruto being older still looks weird to me.

Simple, he is the only one. We have no reason to think that anymore more of her forces are left. And, as said, they played into the whole "cycle of hate" or w/e (I feel like this was from Naruto, but I might be thinking of a different series) to control the people. Thats more or less gone now.

Ended too soon IMO. The fight vs Kaguya was waaaaay shorter than expected. Hope it isn't that close to the end, we still have to see Naruto vs Sasuke.

I dunno, we might just see that fight in the "Naruto the Last Movie" instead of the manga.

But still, it shouldn't be that close to the end. Since that movie is coming out in December and we can presume that the manga will be over before then, we'll probably have around another ten or so chapters before the climax.

It would SUCK for the series to end via a movie.

And I stand by my "700th chapter will be the last one" from a couple weeks ago.

Speaking of GT, I'm literally expecting a GT-style Epilogue with Naruto's and Sasuke's kids duking it out in the "Infamous Dojutsu Battle: Byakugan vs Sharingan".

And I'm serious here.

Though, if the movie is a continuation of the manga, then I don't even know what to say about what style of Epilogue I'd want.

But definitely one that CLARIFIES the pairings, yes.
