I actually really dig Sakura's character design for the movie.

Shikamaru didn't really change, but I also really wouldn't want him to, so that's fine.

Sai's fine, I guess.

And as for the chapter...well, I feel like it was way super contrived, but on the other hand, why would I ever want to downplay Kakashi being awesome?

Also, Naruto throwing 9 Bijuu Rasenshurikens was pretty rad to see.

I do agree that the 9 Bijuu Rasenshurikens was the highlight, but I wish he knew more about the 9 Tailed Beats. Only ones we know anything about really are 1, 4, 8, and 9 tails. From what I remember Fire Cat showed up breifly, Turtle got a filler arc and slight coverage, we know nothing about Derp Horse, Slug got filler arc, and Beetle thing is also a giant unknown.

I think Obito's thing is like what Hagoromo's power when he met Naruto and Sasuke, looking at how he seemed to not simply come back, but come back in the past.

What the issue I have here is, that ought to have rewritten some stuff along the way after the point Kakashi got MS. For example, that was before his fight with Zabuza, and in turn it could affect how the entire team 7 developed under his wing and, and... and I'm probably just required to not overthink about any of this.... right?

With that, I think he simply didn't know he unlocked it, like how Sasuke actually unlocked his Sharingan the night of the Uchiha Massacre, but didn't emerge again until fighting Haku.

And then over the timeskip he realized he had it and worked on using it.

I feel Kakashi immediately unlocking Perfect Susanoo is a little iffy, but then again, he IS the Copy Ninja.

He's seen Susanoo used plenty of times by now between Sasuke and Madara.

I also feel like Obito being able to do what he did is related to having Uchiha/Senju powers, like Hagoromo.

Maybe we shouldn't rule out Ghost Madara making an appearance.

Sorry Sakura fans, but that punch was absolute BS. Byakugan, Black Zetsu, chakra absorb/nullification, Madara powerscalling; there is no reason why that should have worked.

"You must expect the unexpected." She didn't see it, didn't plan to be punched over a variety of Ninjutsu, and thus it worked.

Been following the manga for a long time but haven't commented here at all.

I think Kakashi's new powers are probably a bit of an ass pull, but seeing as I love the character, I personally would hate to see him lose them again so quickly, and I'm not sure how great of a hokage Kakashi would be without his legendary moniker. I think this quote from a user on the Narutobase forums makes for an interesting argument:

[spoiler=Reasoning for Kakashi's new powers being permanent. ]"Kakashi's power-up is permanent. No matter how temporary the haters want it to be, it is permanent per the nature of the act of Obito. The whole purpose of Obito coming but is to give the eye that he had already given to Kakashi, and also to preserve the hype that Kakashi has already in the Shinobi world. By doing this, Obito also made his own dream come true - that is a Hokage stone head with his Sharingan cave in it.

The interpretation made by haters about the gift expiring is the result of bad reading. Obito is giving a gift to Kakashi probably many days or months before the actual purpose of the gift is achieved - that is the power is a gift for when Kakashi will become Hokage. However, Obito knows that Kakashi will already have used the gift before the day come. This is why he said that the gift will expire - that is by the time Kakashi become Hokaga, the gift will have become very old.

See, the power-up is forever. In addition, given that Obito gave the actual source of the Sharingan to Kakashi, Kakashi will be able to activate and deactivate it. Hater gonna always hate, and the idea of temporary power-up is another reason they are building to hate on Kishi later."

Actually, it was stated and even EMPHASIZED MULTIPLE TIMES a lot earlier that pure taijutsu is effective. It's usually impractical when compared to better things like Sage Jutsu and such, but even then, Might Guy clearly demonstrated that it's possible to deal damage onto these things with nothing but strength and speed.

It can be assumed that Sakura either punched her in the face normally, using the velocity of the fall to help her, or she used a chakra-enhanced punch and that doesn't count as using a 'jutsu', hence no chakra nullification.

I like how someone noted that Obito's sharingan will make it onto the mountain when Kakashi becomes Hokage. That was cool to realize.

I've been realizing also that Naruto probably has the biggest case of power creep that I've ever seen since Gurren Lagann.

I mean, a few years ago if people were asked Naruto vs Ichigo for example, most people would say Ichigo.

Right now, Naruto would blow him out the water (although we haven't seen the extent of Ichigo's new powers, I'm willing to take that bet).

I'm not denying that Taijutsu is effective, but 7th gate Guy barely managed to push Madara back a bit. She's even tried to punch Madara and failed. This is someone who is superior to Madara. Sakura doesn't have close the speed Guy has. There is no reason why she shouldn't have been instantly noticed and reacted to.

Dude, look at it from Kaguya's own point of view. She's desperate since both transmigrants of her grandchildren are alive and on the move. Naruto and Sasuke launch an assault, she defends but they bypass her defense and are closing in on her, so she tries to escape by rushing upwards - but then of course, thanks to Kakashi's Kamui, Sakura is dropped out of nowhere to deliver a punch.

For all her power, you honestly think she could've seen that coming? Kaguya was totally ignoring the non-transmigrants since they weren't important and didn't possess the capacity to seal her, so it must've come as a real shock when that happened.
