Seems like Obito had found his way after losing it.

ugh, bad attempt of mine to reference klk aside, nice chapter. And it actually makes sense somewhat.

.

Tbf, the last page had me mentally blasting "Don't lose your waaaaaay". Just had that vibe.

[spoiler=Hmm...]

And from that day onward, 'Naruto' ceased to exist. However, in his legacy he left behind about a hundred clones, all of which would contribute to the society of the shinobi world.

Over the next few years, however, these clones would dwindle to just one, and the last of these Uzumaki Narutos had to shut himself off from the world due to an extremely morbid fear of contact with just about anything...lest he go 'poof'.

Well, the chapter was pretty cool, though we didn't get to see Sakura actually do anything remarkable.

That's kind of the point. Throughout this battle, the characters have been trying to find out flaws in her abilities. Zetsu confirmed that the original Naruto made it through, so we don't know why a clone was killed like that instead of simply "poofing" away.

Maybe it was a call back to the first Zabuza fight?

Does it have anything to do with the 5 Tails before Naruto created his clones? Or did the Gobi just help Naruto break free?

Kokuo just helped Naruto break free. Kurama was the one who lent Naruto power for clones.

Its nice that they are trying to lt the other characters do something. Also, wasn't borns a power off that one dude WAY back. I do wonder how Naruto didn't end up dieing.

Yeah, I was thinking of Kimimaro, but you remember what clan he belonged to? Kaguya.

HOLY FICKEN NOODLES

...You just might be onto something there, Roxas.

See, the thing is, it could just be a coincidence. Kaguya herself is supposed to be a reference to a Japanese folk tale, and "Kaguya" is her given name. Kimimaro's clan, though, has "Kaguya" as the family name. The only way there could be a connection would be if the Kaguya clan was name in her honor. Perhaps they're descended from Hamura?

I think her also having bone powers makes it a little less coincidental, but it could be Kishi just looking back and realizing he could make a cool connection.

Alright alright, good work on Sakura and Obito's part.

SasuSaku fangirls are gonna rave on that one panel.

Interesting how that actually was a clone. That's the first time a clone was ever seriously injured like that before poofing.

What was with it melting too? I'm gonna guess this difference was simply because of the gravity and nature of Kaguya's attack.
