[spoiler=Thoughts]- Not at all surprised that Madara set up Rin's death like that just to make Obito go bad.

- It's rather anticlimactic for Naruto have healed Kakashi's eye like that. Then again, considering how he can just heal people like that, I wonder if it's possible for him to revive the dead. At least let Neji come back.

- I liked how Kishimoto went to the flashback and played it up against how Team 7 is now. However, I felt that it made the chapter rather awkward with its pacing, which wasn't helped by the ending. Guess we'll see how that turns out next week.

I think the healing was fine. It was so unceremonious last chapter that it kind of needed to get undone. Also is a major way to say, "we really are almost done".

Agree with the pacing issue. I like what he was going for with the flashback, but it did hurt the flow of the chapter. Was still fine over all though.

I liked this episode. The ending was a little bit more abrupt than I would have wanted, but I overall liked the flashback as a touch.

Then again, the flashbacks were doing their own thing out of place with what's happening on the other side of the Kamui.

As of right now I'm sort of torn on two things.

It's obvious that if that greater power exists when putting both eyes together, it will happen. Madara will awaken that and the worst-case-scenario must take place.

On the other hand, is this really how Obito will bite the dust? It almost makes me feel like he could be killed off-screen at any moment while we are busy watching emotive flashbacks. He's gonna have such a tragic revelation just before his death.

Then again, it doesn't feel right for an ending in which Naruto just revives everyone. Be it Neji, Minato, even Rin.

That weird mixture of highly predictable but unable to see the path that would leave me satisfied. I'm confused...

Well, along with Rinbo in his right eye, there's probably another power in his left eye (much like Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo).

However, it feels like Sakura just got put back into the useless category since Jesus Naruto can now cure the blind by giving them new eyes.

Also, this isn't the end yet. Madara's fight is probably going to be rather topsy turvy again and then we have to have the final Naruto/Sasuke throwdown.

I'm not sure if people have noticed this yet, but the flashback in the chapter is actually there to be directly parallel with the anime episode that'll be coming out tomorrow, called "Team 7", which is a nostalgia-filled flashback episode of when Team 7 first came together. I'm pretty sure that this isn't a coincidence.

So, I find this really fitting. I don't mind at all~

Glad that Kakashi is no longer one-eyed but kinda disappointed that he no longer has a sharingan, he's gonna be much weaker now.

And thankfully Naruto sorta explained how he healed Kakashi, that way they won't be able to nitpick later and bring back the dead.

[spoiler=And something off-topic]

Can we just talk about how much cooler this concept was for Sasuke than the actual Sasuke?

Ehh, I disagree. I like the current design more than that one.

Naruto generated an eye for Kakashi, eh? I thought it was funny how even he didn't exactly know how he did that.

I feel like it would have been better if Kakashi were able to get Obito's other Sharingan before he dies, but oh well.

Madara setting Rin up for Obito was unexpected, but not surprising. I guess Black Zetsu got to her at some point to put the seal in her.

Pumped for next chapter. Team 7 vs Madara!

The revelation about what really happened with Rin to Kakashi is going to be interesting.

I can see Obito giving Kakashi one of his Sharingan, or both.

I mean, Madara probably just dropped the left eye when he replaced it with the Rinnegan and with Obito dying, there's no use in keeping his right eye

Problem is he dropped it in the other dimension. Without the eyes, they can't get back there.

Maybe, but then there'd be no point in Kishi having Naruto give Kakashi a new eye from nowhere in the first place.

No I'm saying Obito returns back to the real world with both Sharingan.

True. But I feel like Obito needs to give Kakashi his eyes, sorta like a déjà vu. Or maybe like a "take these Kakashi, I'm a good guy and you need to carry on my feelings once again. For myself and Rin"

Gonna be honest, I don't like how Madara killed Rin.  (effectively)

The series has gotten too, not-ninja-ey.

Rin dying on a mission is normal.  Ninjas die.

But nope, main antagonist.  Madara is Aizen.

Also, Naruto is literately Jesus now.  It's like Kishi wants people to make jokes about it.

I'm happy I'm not the only one to see that. I brought up a couple pages ago, but yea, Naruto has just become Jesus. Its, really stange since Japan isn't really Christian either.

Truth.

And I just realized Naruto made another DBZ parallel again.

Goku pulls a new move out of nowhere and randomly mind-reads Gohan on Namek.

Naruto pulls a new move out of nowhere and randomly regenerates Kakashi's eye.

I don't think that this is anywhere near as random. He were shown with Gai that Naruto's most recent power up gives him the ability to heal people. It makes sense too since he said he wants to protect them, and being able to heal would follow from that.

It is the power of the creator of the shinobi world, after all. I wouldn;t be surprised if he had more than the power to bring back the dead, though, I wouldn;t want to see that happen.
