·Toot
Wait, one of them was Raiga. Him making the swords canon was one thing, but now Raiga himself is in the manga? Interesting. In that case, I think we can agree that his arc in the anime is about as canon as we can expect from a filler arc. Fuguki was also there, but he was killed by Kisame, so we can assume that he survived the battle. I'm guessing that the guys who had Zabuza's and Chojiro's swords, and that guy on the top left were all killed by Dai. Still, that's three of the Seven Swordsmen, which is pretty damn impressive. That isn't Zabuza? I guess it makes sense though.
Phantom Roxas
Zabuza was actually younger than Gai, so no.
Philemon
Does it even count as one? We all knew it was going to be used eventually =/ Either way, MADARA BETTER LOSE AT LEAST ONE ARM SO HE CAN'T USE HIS JUTSU. MAKE GAI'S SACRIFICE WORTH SOMETHING DAMNIT. A LOT OF ARMS WERE LOST THIS WAR, IT WON'T HURT LOSE SOME MORE. Or at least take out his Rinnegan, I don't think he can heal that (unless he pulls more powers out his empty eye sockets). Agh...flashback chapter. But a decent one. I like Might Dai and I can see how he influenced Guy to become the man he is today. would've been cool if Dai killed the 7 Swordsmen, but I doubt that's the caseAnd that panel of Guy releasing the Gate of Death looks sick. Next chapter should be awesome. I think Gai or Kakashi said (waaaaaay back) in the Preliminaries that the Gates give you power greater than a Hokage, so he probably offed one of them. Also, guy's Red Steam is basically flaming blood. Version 2 Guy is about to woop ass. This is also the first time we find out that Might Guy can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but if that's the case, then how does he summon that turtle thing, first time off-screen, second time in front of us? Plot holes, man, plot holes. I think Young!Guy was just terrible at Ninjustu and Genjustu and focused most on Taijutsu, and giving them up completely (save summons) for Lee's sake. And his databook entries give him 3/5 for both Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, so I don't think it's a plot hole. I don't quite understand how you perfect an 8th Gate technique like Night Elephant. You can't really practice it... Or since it's taijutsu it doesn't count and the gates just amplify your taijutsu Didn't Gai use the Daytime Tiger on Madara's Susanoo a while back, without the gates and it being much tinier? The Evening Elephant probably just needs the Gates to be fully powered.
Lt. Colonel Remo
Just realized that guy only looked like Zabuza but wasn't actually Zabuza, totally looks like him though. Perhaps his dad or something? Wait, one of them was Raiga. Him making the swords canon was one thing, but now Raiga himself is in the manga? Interesting. Still, that's three of the Seven Swordsmen, which is pretty damn impressive.Wait where was Raiga, I don't recall seeing him, and wouldn't it have been Ringo who would be wielding the lighting sword since she was the original previous wielder? Minus Fuguki how do you know the other 3 who escaped? Were they specifically mentioned to have passed on their swords personally?

Lt. Colonel Remo
Yeah I thought it was Mangetsu or somebody related to those brothers. funking Kishimoto and his samehair is almost as bad as Kubo's sameface.
Phantom Roxas
I thought it was Mangetsu as well, but then I noticed that he had the two swords, so I figured that it had to be Raiga. We know Raiga and Fuguki will survive this, and while I said that three of them will likely die, it's the other two you should be asking about. I got nothing for them, really. I just think the ones we've never seen before are the most likely to die.
Lt. Colonel Remo
Man Kishimoto did a really good job creating a brand new character like that in only one chapter, regardless of how many Swordsman he manages to kill xD. Much better then the random Sternritters we see get killed each chapter.

FTW (For The Wynn)
Quite the explosive chapter, in its own way. [spoiler=But it did give us the subtle confirmation that]Kakashi's Sharingan is losing its light by excessive use of Kamui, so perhaps Obito is in a similar boat after all, not that it matters. Evening Elephant looked pretty cool. [spoiler=My one big issue]You can't have Madara say that getting hit 4-5 times would be bad and then have him get hit 5 times and just smile with a bit of blood loss. Phantom Roxas
That was so much fun. We needed a chapter dedicated to nothing but Madara getting his ass handed to him.
Philemon
I liked the little callback between Lee and Gaara, and I loved Madara getting wooped by the real greatest ninja of all time. Oh and that Orange kid is alive, but who cares about him when we've got Gai.
Kakashi Hatake
So what's the explanation for that ending?
Merci
I think that's very first time I've ever been on the edge of my seat for a manga battle, and I've been looking around at other discussions for this chapter, and it seems that everyone shares the same opinion; Gai kicking the crap out of Madara was JUST SO SO SO SO AWESOME! And with Kakashi, Lee, Gaara, and Minato providing support, I couldn't help but appreciate just how funking intense that was. Like, seriously. Too bad Gai reached his limit though. I bet Madara's taken some heavy damage, but we have yet to see just how much he's taken. As for Naruto, eh, whatever.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
[spoiler=Regarding Evening Elephant]It was awesome. It's not often we get to see actual Megaton Punches in this manga, so seeing 5 of those hitting Madara's boring ass was really fun. However, correct me if I'm wrong on this, but isn't Gai's moves based off the 4 Sacred/Mythic Beasts of China? Morning Peacock was based off the Vermilion Bird of The South, which was also sometimes depicted as a Peacock. Daytime Tiger was based off the White Tiger of The West, so why is Evening Elephant based on an Elephant? Shouldn't it be based off the Azure Dragon of The South? It would make sense, since the Azure Dragon was also the strongest of the 4 beasts. Anyway, this chapter was great. Finally getting a chance to see Madara with an expression other than boring confident smile makes the chapter for me.
Fusion X. Denver
This is why you've always been one of my favorites, Might Guy. I knew you had this in you <3 Other nice touches was Gaara realizing how far Lee went in their fight and Kakashi's Sharingan having gone blind after all that usage (I actually forgot about that). vla1ne
One of the best fight chapters ever to exist in Naruto. and it belongs to might guy. All is right with the world. Sadly now that Naruto's awake, might guy's gonna have to go sit down in the corner with neji.
Tentacruel
Madara better not tank this sheet. Like, how does that even work? Has Kishi ever outright confirmed that having more chakra just outright makes you indestructible?

Philemon
Goddamn he's ugly. This meeting (or the beginning) reminds me of this one (not so great) fanfiction I read like forever ago. Don't know if that's good or bad. Annnnnnnnd Reincarnation. That just about kills the whole "funk Destiny" message completely and finally, no matter what the old man says. FTW (For The Wynn)
And the community that is Naruto's psyche grows even more in number. [spoiler=So many personalities, so little space]
Flame Dragon
I do like that a lot of this is stuff we've been learning through out the manga. And gee, I wonder who got the older brothers.
FTW (For The Wynn)
I am quite curious to know about Hagoromo's brother now.Obviously he shares a part in this story now, since they went out of the way to add him in.
Monkey
Who is Hagoromo's dad? He must've had some balls to have sex with demon chakra devil lady. I hope the personalities of the Bijuu and the animals they were created into will be explained, if there's any reasoning in the first place. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
I bet Sasuke is Indra's reincarnation or something. Though, it does make me wonder. Who were the other reincarnations? I'm guessing Minato and Hashirama is another of Ashura's reincarnation. Also, Kishi just called Kaguya the "Rabbit Princess". Really can't avoid the cliches, can you Kishi? Next thing we know she's from the moon and the Hagoromo clan really are moon people. Maybe the language Hagoromo spoke in was moonspeak? Might explain why Naruto didn't understand.
