I want Kishi to give Kakashi a really funny reaction when he comes out.

>Obito became God with horns and sh*t

>Sasuke's back in a giant Susanoo.

>There is a giant wooden tree that everyone is attacking

>The freaking Hokages are back

Really though.

All I want is for the 4th and Kakashi to have a moment. Thats all. Well, I guess he would need to react to Sasuke too.

I really should have seen Susano'o Kurama coming after Madara showed his version in that flashback with Hashirama. Wonder if Juugo's too exhausted to add the Curse Mark to it, but if he isn't, I'd love to see Sasuke reach the second form of his Cursed Seal.

Not surprised by finally getting a perspective of Obito turning good, but at least for him, it makes sense. His whole deal is that he really doesn't want to succumb to Talk no Jutsu, but that's really the point of Naruto's characters. People who lost faith see through Naruto that everything they thought they could never have is still a possibility.

Even though I prefer Obito as a villain, I still think Madara makes more sense as a villain for the whole theme of generations.

That caption on the last page was great. "Become the fangs that will take back tomorrow!!" That hits the nail right on the head for what I love in stories. Dear God I love this series.

This was a good chapter.

I can't say that I didn't see Susano'o Kurama coming though. I knew Sasuke and Naruto would make a combo like that.

I really want to see a battle focused purely on the Sannin and Sarutobi. I think it'd be awesome to see them fight together... If only Jiraiya was here... 0_0

And don't you think that with all the healing and other stuff here, Neji would be able to be revived somehow?

The healing is for people who are still alive and were having their chakra drained from them by the God Tree. Neji was killed by spikes, not drained dry, so it all depends on what happens.

I've been thinking, though, if Madara does hijack the Juubi from Obito, what would Obito have accomplished in the grand scheme of things, at least after the point where Madara tried to turn him into a Zetsu so he could be revived? Pretty much just accelerating the process of the Juubi's evolution without Madara needing to actually do anything?

Most epic technique EVER. No, seriously, that was really really really AWESOME. I hope when the anime adapts this part, they'll increase their budget specifically for this scene, since doing any less would be nothing but an insult.

Now all that's left is Madara. Looking forward to see how this ends~

Edit: By the way, did you know that Naruto's birthday is on October the 10th? So chronologically, this epic battle took place about a week ago (in another universe, of course).

So that was pretty much the best way to defeat Obito ever. Seriously, Kishimoto, you really need try hard to defeat Obito, because having everyone activate Kyuubi Chakra Mode like and using a Rasengan together was flat out awesome.

By the way, Merciful, do you remember how this actually takes the day before Naruto's birthday?

*nods* Yeah, I remember, but it wasn't much of a difference. So chronologically, this battle took place on October the 9th.

Interesting how, even in his dream reality, Rin is still dead. Wonder if that means that, in the end, he doesn't want a world where Rin is alive.

That's not really it. He was just dreaming of a possible what-if world, a world in which he decided to do the right thing and not return to Madara, instead reuniting with Kakashi and the rest of Konoha. He would have learned from his experiences, moved on, and possibly even became Hokage. It would've been a long difficult path, of course, but he knew that it might've happened had he done the right thing.

In other words, it's a world in which he didn't abandon his Will of Fire, in which he placed his trust into his friends instead of into an illusion.
