I'm okay with Hashirama using a wood clone to sneak up on Madara so he can stab him. The epic part of the battle had already happened, so I like that in ended in a relatively simple manner.

 

However, even if Naruto redeems Sasuke, who's to say he won't eventually turn out like Madara? They may came to an agreement, but in twenty years, something could happen that turns Sasuke against everyone else. Even though Naruto doesn't want to so much as consider it, Sasuke has to die.

Honestly, I would've preferred it if Kishi made Hashirama and Madara less so ridiculously powerful. But it's nice to see how it came to an end, though we didn't get to see Mito, Izuna's death was a bit anticlimactic, and we never did get to discover how Hashirama has such amazing wood powers.

 

But it did provide a parallel with Naruto and Sasuke. Even if they make peace after changing so much, Sasuke could still fall into darkness later and be like Madara.

 

Whatever the spiky kid decides from here on out after hearing the Shodaime's words, he will decide the final battle of Naruto. I can't guess how he will answer.

we never did get to discover how Hashirama has such amazing wood powers.

He was born with them, plain and simple. Just so happens there's a ton of cool ways you can use wood.

Oh yeah, new opening and ending are out today.

Both are pretty good songs IMO; opening has cool, but spoilerific action and the ending's kinda weird...in a kinda good way.

Also I looked on the wiki to see if we got back into stuff from the manga and seems that only the most recent episode has anything from the manga but its from like 30 chapters back from where the anime is. What does this mean?

Hashirama had to stone his heart at the end there. I guess this is where the contrast between him and Naruto will set in. Naruto will be able to save and change his former best friend from the path of evil (hopefully) whereas Hashirama chose the path of ending it himself.

Kinda think it's anticlimactic to beat Madara with a clone...but whatever.

Shame there won't be Mito scenes, but at least we can see Sasuke's reaction and plot advancement next chapter.

Maybe Naruto will pull the shadow clone trick on him, but instead will refuse to kill him?

 

This would require Sasuke to go evil in front of Hashirama, which would be kind of weird.

 

It'd still work, but I felt that Hashirama should have made a pretty convincing case towards him to stop with the revenge bullshit

The Hokages' reactions to the new Legend of Zelda.

 

I'm a little confused by what you're saying; the anime right now is basically during the interval period between Naruto reinforcing the army and Edo Madara's reveal. But for the past 2 months or so, it's been on filler again. Though believe it or not, I liked this week's episode because it showed us the Hayate/Baki fight from Part 1 and it wasn't half-bad actually.

I don't think Sasuke will be fully convinced by Hashirama simply because that'd be too easy, but I definitely think it'll be a nudge in the right direction.

OR, if anything, he'll simply fixate his vengeance on Obito. Remember, he wanted to know who the 3rd Uchiha survivor was back when he fought Itachi in order to kill him for his revenge. I have a feeling he still plans to take out Obito at some point.

It is kinda hard to predict what exactly Sasuke's reaction will entail though since I doubt even he could detract from Hashirama's logic completely.

This makes me wonder what is really going on in the episode and if its worth while to watch.

That can't be, I'm talking about the latest episode on Anime Ultima, the one with uploads soon after their airing in Japan. This episode focused on Kabuto reviving Gekko Hayate and recapping parts of the Chunin Exam arc while also showing what's currently up with his old girlfriend Yugao. And next week's supposed to be a continuation of this storyline.

If anything, see the Baki/Hayate fight on Youtube, decent time-killer.

Ok, that is the most recent episode. I read Hayate as Hinata and since I knew that one before focused on her I was thinking you were talking about that. I need to reread what others write. 

 

Finally. I have gotten sick of filler so I just don't watch it anymore. However I keep thinking that something from the actual storyline is going to be put in and it would bug me if I missed it.

Best chapter. Calling it now. I mean, Sasuke turning good and the Hokages going to the battlefield? This is absolute joy. Well, maybe not best chapter; I have a feeling the next couple of them will take the cake. I'm really looking forward to Hashi meeting his boyfriend again and Minato seeing Naruto in Bijuu Mode.
