Fusion X. Denver
Well, quite bluntly put: The first time, his initial reaction was, "We were resurrected with forbidden Jutsu." This time? His first words were, roughly, "Oh sheet!" Well, his initial reaction was asking what was going on, but then he reacted like that when he learned there was a 4th Hokage. I think the fact he was summoned to fight his old pupil the first time was why he wasn't so jolly.
Blake
New chapter's out. And with each chapter, I doubt Naruto and Sasuke will fight, more and more. The "cycle of hatred" is gonna be broken by them, obviously, and any fight will be to set the record more than anything.
Zextra
Yeah, here it is...http://www.mangahere.com/manga/naruto/v60/c621/ It was nice to see a bit of Madara/Hashirama's childhood, I guess...
Merci
I'm glad Kishimoto didn't go full-blown parallels between them along with Naruto and Sasuke. In the last bit, it seems as though their positions are reversed: a mischievous guy who's actually better than the emo guy his rival. Basically, imagine a Naruto who's at the top of his class in front of a Sasuke who's at the bottom. Very interesting. Also, Kurama being coated in Susanoo armor...foreshadowing, perhaps? Fusion X. Denver
Also, Kurama being coated in Susanoo armor...foreshadowing, perhaps? I had this theory...[spoiler=Theory] There's an idea I'm afraid of though, because I'm not sure how I feel about it. Right now, if Naruto and Sasuke were to fight, I think it's safe to say Naruto would kick a*s. Sasuke needs some sort of significant upgrade in order to match Naruto's new strength and speed. Well As you may recall, Minato sealed half of Kurama's chakra into his body when he died. Sasuke and Minato are currently together. Orochimaru has complete control over him. What if... Don't know if I want to be right. Man, that battle was intense. Kurama looked sick in Susanoo Armor and that giant Buddha thing was...was...something. Merci
....although, I feel like Kishimoto went overboard on the Madara vs Hashirama battle. How can the next generation surpass that? That's just insane. And the sage+thousand hands thing was just...completely uncalled for. Hashirama's just a guy who spams wood attacks, as we saw in his battle against the Third Hokage. If he really was so ridiculously powerful, how did Sarutobi manage to take both him and his brother down? It's just my personal opinion. Kishi didn't have to go that far just to parallel Naruto, because I fear he may have set the bar too high for surpassing.
Fusion X. Denver
If he really was so ridiculously powerful, how did Sarutobi manage to take both him and his brother down? I don't think they were revived at full power at the time. Tobirama stated that this time they had their full power and that was Orochimaru's mistake, so he probably suppressed them a bit the first time to maintain control or something like that. Phantom Roxas
We've reached Flashbackception, people. This is going to take a while. Susano'o!Kurama looked awesome, but it's kind of depressing seeing him as a mindless beast, knowing how far his character development has gone. Strider Tigerwolf
how did Sarutobi manage to take both him and his brother down? Orochimaru "suppressed" their conscience/emotions, and also, he was still getting the hang of the Edo Tensei technique...so most likely it also suppressed both of their power to a huge extent. However, this time, he summoned them with "near" their full power AND did not suppress their conscience. I bet that made a remarkable difference. ...freaking ninjas... Monkey
What mode did Hashirama go into when he summoned the Senju? It looked like something similar to Sage Mode. Also, the techniques that Madara and Hashirama used seemed to be on a COMPLETELY different level than we've ever seen. I think Kishi is making a statement that those were the two strongest Shinobi EVER. Lol Chibaku Tensei ain't got sheet on Senju and Susano'o Kyuubi. Fusion X. Denver
What mode did Hashirama go into when he summoned the Senju? It looked like something similar to Sage Mode. It's his Mitotic Regeneration mode where he's able to regenerate almost all wounds instantly. Tsunade uses it too.

Fusion X. Denver
His looked different though? Well, Sage Mode looked different. And Madara stated his and Tsunade's modes worked differently from each other; Hashirama was able to do it on command more easily and Tsunade has to seal chakra into a seal on her forehead, so I guess the fundamental differences is why. Fusion X. Denver
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/naruto/v60/c622/[spoiler=Thoughts]Huh.Hashirama and Madara both had more brothers that died as kids.Well that's pretty messed up.Wish the chapter was a little longer, but I enjoyed seeing the interaction between Hashirama and Madara as kids. It should be interesting to see how things became the way they are.
Kakashi Hatake
Eh, at least we got more info in this chapter than usual. Definately sad to see Itama die, I liked him. Welp, wonder how long it'll take for Hashirama to meet Madara on the battlefield for the first time and then not fight each other.

Phantom Roxas
So… must ALL of the Senju have their names end in "ama"? I'm very curious as how to Izuna fits into all of this. Is Madara neglecting to mention Izuna, does he not know about him, or are we misinterpreting it and that Izuna is the only brother alive? IZUNA CONFIRMED FOR FINAL VILLAIN. Merci
I like this chapter. It doesn't have too many revelations apart from Hashi's and Madara's many siblings, but shows how two kids dreamed of having an alliance between their clans, ultimately culminating in the alliance, and makes the background that much deeper. It also shows their friendship, which makes their ultimate battle only a lot more sadder. Then again, they're meant to parallel Naruto and Sasuke (though Kishi does a good job at blurring the similarities). But you know, I think Kishimoto should've left their epic duel for later, after portraying them as kids. It would've had more of an impact that way. Boring chapter IMOWell, not everything in a manga should be action-packed, you know.
