Well, his plan was a bit right-out-of-the-blue. I don't see how Shikamaru's father could've suddenly gained knowledge on how the Kyuubi chakra works :/ And of course, Naruto ends the chapter with another cliche line. I wish he'd just stop with that, it's not as if he's ever going to convince me that his flawed ideals are true (I support the Moon's Eye Plan).

It's also nice to see that the Sasuke plot is continuing. I wonder what sort of chakra could be sensed even by non-sensors...? It doesn't seem that this will intersect with the Juubi plot anytime soon, so it looks like Tobi+Madara+Juubi are not the final bosses of the manga.

Kishimoto may still be going for his Naruto vs Sasuke route, and he's building that up.

I was more confused by how the conversation between Shikamaru, Ino, and their fathers lasted that long before the headquarters blew up. Maybe the fact that it took place in their minds meant it took place much faster. The comedic bit like whatever Shikaku was asking Shikamaru and Lee mourning Neji felt a bit unnecessary, but I'm just glad Naruto is powering everyone up and we're finally continuing Sasuke's perspective.

I was under the assumption that they were sensing Naruto's chakra

Actually, if anything, what he said at the end there cemented my conviction that the plan's a bad idea.

The fandom's been waiting for their rematch for years, we'll definitely see that at some point.

That's what I'm thinking, or maybe that past chapter had more time in-between panels than it seemed, but I'm banking on the former.

I feel bad for the NejiTen shippers. They're probably pretty bummed she didn't directly acknowledge his death yet.

Also, seems like Sasuke's group is at Konoha? Which seems to have been substantially rebuilt since we last saw it.

For me, Naruto's words are his way of assuring himself and others. It's as though he did not intend to be cliche but he intended to say he's going to bear the weight of his words, which is fine. I just believe he did it in the simplest way of doing this. What caught my eye is when he said to Ino faster than me. I know that she's not actually faster than him, even with the boost in chakra, so is he implying that she reacted to the attack faster than him because she was inside the Juubi? That's all that seems to make sense now.

And Sasuke definitely seems butthurt at sensing Naruto's chakra. Orochimaru was the one who observed his reaction. Though it could be the close proximity to Konoha and they're talking about something utterly different.

Just realized, what the hell has Karin been doing?

Anyways, I don't really get how Gentle Fist is supposed to heal dislocated bones, but whatever.

Lee was awesome and so was the Shinobi Alliance Bird Thing.

For all we know, Karin's still in interrogation (well, the last time we saw her, she was in a jail cell with a key...

As for the Juuken maneuver - it was just used to knock the bone back in place :p

When I saw the hand on Naruto, I was thinking it would be Sakura healing Naruto. NOPE. Less page time for Sakura, more fuel for the NaruHina fans! Yeah, people have been complaining about Sakura not doing anything of note in this battle, and I have to agree. Look, nothing against Hinata, but I do think this all came out of nowhere.

The breaks were really jarring, because avenging Neji feels like it should have happened to chapters ago. Still, I'm loving where the battle is heading.
