Fusion X. Denver
I shed a tear.I'll miss you Neji. This is so much worse than last week ;___; On the plus side, now we know why Madara wanted Rinne Tensei over Edo Tensei, which makes perfect sense actually. And Juubi's gonna transform again, yeesh. Strider Tigerwolf
I'm...actually okay with this end for Neji. It's very fitting for him in actuality and symbolically. But I agree, didn't expect Neji of all the characters to kick the bucket on this chapter...I actually expected the remaining kages to finally get their asses in gear and get the re already. Phantom Roxas
I hadn't read the chapter when I saw your post, Fuse, so unfortunately, I couldn't have feels the same way as any of you, or like how I did last week. Still, that was really sad. However, I don't get the whole Jinchuuriki thing, since it doesn't match with Obito's Six Paths. Were those allowed because they had already been Jinchuuriki, or is the Juubi's power so immense that it can only be contained in a body that is truly alive. Also, I loved how Obito asserted his authority over Obito.

Merci
However, I don't get the whole Jinchuuriki thing, since it doesn't match with Obito's Six Paths. Were those allowed because they had already been Jinchuuriki, or is the Juubi's power so immense that it can only be contained in a body that is truly alive. I thought that too, but I believe it's because they had already been Jinchuuriki. Edo Tensei reconstructs the person who died, but it's still a dead person. If their arms get cut off, they probably won't notice. If they get blown up, they regenerate. They don't need to breathe. They can move and access all their former abilities as well as memories. But if you try to operate on one (let's say, hypothetically give them a plastic surgery), they'll just regenerate back to their predetermined state. The same can be said for sealing a bijuu into a human. It's like an operation. There's simply no space for the bijuu to go, because the zombie body will always stay the same, always fulfilling its own predetermined functions and nothing more. That's how I see it. Jake the Sage
I shed a tear.I'll miss you Neji. This is so much worse than last week ;___;I know . . . one of my friends is going to be so upset when she reads this because she is a deep Negi fangirl. Oh the tears are gonna be rolling tonight! On the plus side, now we know why Madara wanted Rinne Tensei over Edo Tensei, which makes perfect sense actually. And Juubi's gonna transform again, yeesh.yeah seriously all I can think of when reading that is Abridged Frieza asking, "Anyone bored of this form? Yes? Okay transformation time!"
Monkey
That seems like a well explained technical aspect. I think that the Juubi needs a living host rather than an Edo Tensei host simply because the Juubi probably requires life force since its so massive and so strong. Chakra alone cannot contain it inside a vessel. And the next transformation apparently worries Madara because he won't be able to control it fully. Obito's going to pull off a backstabbing of some sort, but how? I really didn't expect Neji to die... I just can't see it staying that way. If Kishi is going that route, how many of Naruto's friends will he kill off?

As powerful as Neji is, he's definately going to become a soul reaper now and we're going to see him in Bleach pretty soon.

Sorry I inadvertently spoiled it for you, though to be fair, everyone else started talking about it without spoilers and I assumed notifications would take you to LZ's post, not mine. I like Monkey's explanation; the Juubi can be considered a giant life force judging by Kurama comparing it to natural energy, so it's different from the bijuu in that regard. Phantom Roxas
Don't worry about it, I understand that you thought it was okay to talk spoilers about it after how many people had posted, it was just my mistake. I like Merciful's explanation, because it does work with the idea that you can't change an Edo Tensei, although now I'm just curious how Obito was able to put the Bijuu back into their hosts. Did Kabuto revive them, and the Bijuu were brought back into them? Did Obito and Kabuto make sure they were revived this way? There's also the fact that he was able to put the Chakra receivers into them.
Fusion X. Denver
Ah...my head hurts.I'm pretty sure they were revived, and then the Bijuu were resealed into them. And the difference between them and the Juubi is that Obito was able to keep control over the Bijuu whereas the Juubi's probably just too damn powerful. You know, killing Neji caught a lot of us off guard, it makes you wonder who else could go...Although, Neji's death is also fitting if you look at it symbolically. He came to understand the freedom behind choosing the way you die like his dad and he was able to repay Hinata after bullying her as kids. But he also got some screentime with the impersonation thing and hanging out with Kiba.Which makes me afraid Kiba could die considering he's been able to work in a lot of one-liners and scant moments ;__;[/pro logic]
Flame Dragon
Who would have seen that one coming?! ;^; Seriously, I hope they pull a Byakuya Kuchiki on this one. ;^;I think him lossing the seal on his head means he's dead and in Naruto dead is dead. I shed a tear.I'll miss you Neji. This is so much worse than last week ;___; On the plus side, now we know why Madara wanted Rinne Tensei over Edo Tensei, which makes perfect sense actually. And Juubi's gonna transform again, yeesh.I would have been very said if they was the Juubi's final form. It honest looks incomplete. As for the chapter, can't end things without the good side lossing named characters. Its always going to be sad when it happens, but you just know its going to. Fusion X. Denver
The NaruHinanessIt's overwhelming~Well said, Hinata. Chapter might've been a little cliche though. And I was expecting more of a reaction from Team Guy when the news broke, but then again there's a lot happening right now. And maybe next chapter will show something. When's the next Shonen Jump coming out?

Blake
The NaruHina moments were cute and touching. I saw something to this effect coming the moment Neji mentioned her willingness to die for Naruto, but I'm really surprised and happy at how it actualyl turned out. Interested to see what the next form is, though...

Seeing as how that is what we're reading from now though, the one after that won't be on sale till like the 1/18. That means next time we get manga will be 1/13. As for the chapter, ALL OF THE SHIPS GOING OUT TO SEA!!!! It did bug me how fast Naruto started cracking though.....

I'll give Naruto a break there because he saw a good friend of his die right in front of him. Even with Jiraiya, he heard it after the fact, yet it's totally different when it happens right in front of you.
Blake
I don't mind the cracking speed because he just watched his friend die in his arms. At that, it was the first person he ever got through to like that, with Gaara following soon after. He changed the guy's life completely, and Neji certainly let him know that in his dying moments. FTW (For The Wynn)
Well, we have now hit 100 chapters of war, and it has turned into some impressive NaruHina moments. This chapter was pretty good overall. Along with the lovefest, I enjoyed seeing Bee shoot a Tailed Beast Ball right down Ten Tails throat.
