Ah, but just as a note, the latter half is just boring. Some pointless, dragged-on scene about two kids escaping from the attack... The first half is the part worth watching.

Have the latest filler arcs all been related to the war because if so I have to watch. Especially the Kimmimaro ones as he is my fave character outside of Naruto himself.

...I was looking forward to Kimimaro as well. But guess what? When he appears in the anime...HIS OLD ANIMATIONS ARE REUSED. AND HE'S HORRIBLE, not even remotely a threat, even though he's theoretically among the higher tiers of power. He doesn't get his own part, at all. He only appears a couple of times during the Hanzo VS Samurai Guy fight, along with old lady Chiyo.

 

But yeah, all the filler arcs lately have been related to the war. There was one focused on Deidara after he managed to escape, one focused on some secret cave that explored the White Zetsu more, etc...no Kimimaro though.

Huh, kinda wanting to see what this all-powerful new utsu is. No doubt it's some kind of over-powered Rasengan. I doubt that it'll end soon but I am hoping that this new jutstu is really cool. Anyone got a guess on what "Futton-kazekiri no Jutsu" is? Supposedly a "super amazing jutsu, the strongest one that ever existed in the shinobi war that can even win against the Infitine Tsukuyomi"?

^I think Naruto was just saying that the combined forces was a stronger "jutsu" than some stupid moon genjutsu.

Anyway, the army's finally here, so that's great. So, Sasuke should probably show up soon.

 

On a different note, chapter 615 will mark 100 chapters of the war. So, the 100th chapter should come up either immediately before or immediately after the holiday season. This is almost a One Piece-esque story line now.

I didn't know that the war has almost been going on for 100 chapters. People do like to debate the "holiday cliffhanger" Kishimoto leaves, so I agree that the hundredth chapter should be that.

Hate to say it, but he's already got his own Super Saiyan form, Kamehameha (I consider Bijuu Bomb that since Goku's were that strong by the end), a wise, talking animal he summons every year or so, and his own bloody Goku gi in Ninja Storm 3. Spirit Bomb almost needs a knock-off.

 

In all seriousness, I'm hoping that whatever happens, maybe we'll get to see that jutsu.

When Naruto makes Giant Rasengans it is the equivalent to a Spirit Bomb Imo. Im happy that Naruto has a fifth Justu! And that whole part about Hinata and Naruto made me happy. I thought he was about to tell Sakura that he's with her now. It would've made my day. All in all great chapter.

Well, in this case I could accept Ino not having enough to keep Obito under control as an acceptable excuse. but you might be onto something

Yeah, some people thought that Naruto literally had a new jutsu up his sleeve when he was just speaking metaphorically.

 

@Remo-I was reading the wiki earlier and apparently Ino actually possessed the Juubi for a split second to avert its aim and that's why its Bijuu Bomb missed.

In which case, I don't think anyone can talk smack about Ino anymore. I'm sure people stopped after she and Team 10 fought Asuma, but especially now. She possessed the god-damn Juubi, even if it was just for a second.

If I understand it correctly, and that's a big if, I think it means that either it lost form because the army all gathered in one location or it's because both armies gathered at one place and they aren't spread out over a huge battlefield anymore.

 

I thought they were being literal about a new jutsu...but I also read it early yesterday. >_>

Yeah, it's supposed to be that they were all gathering.

 

Even with Mangapanda's translations at the seven in the morning, I could still tell that Naruto was just metaphorically referring to the army as a jutsu, basically saying that the collective power of the army with kick Obito's ass.
